can you make a separate world including a different mod pack without using the original mod pack

i am on hexxit and want to get attack of the B team (using current launcher) but i don't want attack of the b team to disrupt my current worlds in hexxit, if i download attack of the b team will the mod be in my hexxit worlds and interfere with it or will it not be in my current worlds, sorry if this is confusing to some of you.

No, they are totally separate in different folder structures.
