I'm am using the .exe when I open it the little loading bar pops up and disappears quickly then nothing happens, I have both 32-bit and 64-bit Java 6 installed.

Plus you don't need 32-bit installed if you have 64-bit installed, unless you have a shitty web-browser (in which case, get a better one).

There's no harm in having 32 installed as well as 64 bit. Most people do. You DO need up to date java however, as outlined in the common problems and solutions thread.

The harm comes from very dim users who don't understand what an environment variable is, nor how to change one, to make sure it's using the right version.

I have the same problem. I installed both java 7 64 and 32, and the jdk 64 bit. Nothing is working. I know my system uses 64 bit. After downloading jdk it said you already have a newer version installed. I don't know what to do

Nope, I can get in by opening the .jar in the launcher folder but the exe doesn't work, could be my environment variable but i doubt it.
