Avira states it finds a trojan in the launcher?

Not sure if anyone else gets this...Avira Antivirus states it finds a trojan in my launcher and won't let me open it.

Everyone using Avira is getting this. It would have been on the list with Norton and AVG if we'd known but I'd never heard of Avira until recently. There's no viruses, Avira just doesn't recognize the launcher. This is why most software you install tells you to disable your antivirus in the installation guides. Just to avoid complications with firewalls and whatnot. Set it as an exception or turn off your AV while you install it and you shouldn't have any problems. If you're actaully worried about viruses, the launcher is open source and anyone can view the code online, so if there were bad code everyone would know.

Avira has apparently fixed the issue. Update your whatevers and hopefully it should not incorrectly flag it anymore.
