alexiboy321 Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 (edited) So i am trying to make a modpack for streaming and the game seems to crash right after the mojang screen. The link for the modpack http://www.technicpack.net/api/modpack/ubercraftia Any help is appreciated Edited July 23, 2014 by alexiboy321
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted July 23, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted July 23, 2014 Your bin folder should only contain the modpack.jar file. Remove the other contents. You have included no config files with your pack. In your case this is a fatal oversight as the default config files generated by the mods have multiple block ID conflicts. You need to resolve these locally then included the resulting fixed config files in your modpack archive.
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted July 24, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted July 24, 2014 (edited) Please see Seeing as you haven't changed the modpack archive which is referenced by your pack settings in any way, I would expect the pack to still not work. I told you what you needed to do to fix the problem. Failing to follow my advice will result in your pack still not working. If you wish to be more precise (relate exactly what you tried, what you changed, what isn't working, crash-reports, FML logs, etc.) I might be able to offer more assistance. alexiboy321 Posted July 24, 2014 Author Posted July 24, 2014 I figured out that thermal expansion does not work with biomes o' plenty. thanks for the help anyway
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted July 24, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted July 24, 2014 Thermal expansion works perfectly fine with BoP. I use that combination on two of my custom modpacks.
senne010 Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 I have the same problem and in the bin folder only is the minecraft jar because technic luancher put it in there
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted July 29, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted July 29, 2014 @senne010: You do not have the "exact same problem". It is likely quite different in fact. Don't hijack someone else's thread with a new problem. Start a new thread with pertinent details. Provide: Link to Technic pack page or API URL, crash-report, FML client log, etc.
