cant pick up my own death enderchest

Hi guys. I picked up my death enderchest to bring it to my new house. Once placed down i am unable to pick it up (using a wrench) or even look in it ( i dont have the permission). Does someone know what i am doing wrong?

Aye that's a bug, I'm afraid you'll need to get someone with creative to destroy the chest and make a new one as once you place it down it's there for good.
