Multiple Modpack Versions

So my custom pack is currently on a stable release using 1.6.4. However, I would like to create an unstable beta version of my modpack on 1.7.x for my users to download if they wish. Is there a way for me to let users choose multiple versions within the same modpack, and be able to mark one as recommended? Or to do this idea would I have to just create a separate pack entirely?

This is possible only by implementing the Solder API. If the Github page isn't enough information to get it up and running there is little other support: https://github.com/TechnicPack/TechnicSolder
