New to tekkit servers

Hey I just started my own Tekkit server, but i am unsure on how to change the world to a different seed i have tried replacing the world file but i keep being returned to the original world. Sorry for the noobness.

remove the complete world-folder and then restart the server. It will create a fully new World!

In the server.properties file, you probably just need to change the "level-name" line from whatever it is (by default its just "world") to the name of the world you are trying to switch it out with. If you're looking to generate a world with a specific seed, just change the "level-name" to something that isnt already used by another world, and change "level-seed" to whatever you want the seed of the new world to be.
