Wind Mills don't work?!

so my first question is, is it a good idea to play with the 1.2.5 version of tekkit?

because i noticed all mods are woriking even if its not rec.

but i guess i found one problem in my world wind mills won't work. i dont know whether i do something wrong because i place them as usual but they got no wind power at all

the problem is i changed to 1.2.5 a few hours ago and built alot of stuff, but when i rollback ro 1.1 it doesnt aply to 1.1

There is no Tekkit server version for MC 1.2.5, so you'd be playing by yourself, at which point...you might as well play Technic, unless you're just testing stuff.
