Launcher not working

java 1.7 64 bit from home page link

symantec endpoint 12 ( I disable and still get the issue.)

I am not able to run the launcher from either the exe or the jar file. It sits at the launcher banner and does nothing.

hey guys, i had this problem to,

goto C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\.techniclauncher

and open "technic-launcher.jar" instead and it should work.

We're shooting for a record! So far we have 4 people in one thread without a single bug report or log file. This is even after someone was nice enough to mention that log files are a good idea, and give a link on instructions for posting them!

I don't have any logs there is nothing to post. It doesn't have any in the files. I have tried the .jar and .exe

I downloaded the program again and ran it and it finally gave a log report.

It was my proxy. I thought it was off but it wasn't. sorry for complaining.

hey, at least you got a clue in the end and your problem is fixed. could be worse.
