Help installing mods to modpack

Hi I recently got minecraft and I wanted to play tekkit and yogbox but I was trying to get a couple other mods in the pack but I don't know how I've tried installing them like normal but it's not working so I figured you guys could help me.

You could use my BareBonesPack modpack to assemble your custom modpack:

Thanks I've been trying to get optifine so I can play yogbox and tekkit because my pc is a little slow

OptiFine just gets dropped into the mods folder like any other mod for Forge/MC >=1.6. Make sure you are using the latest version from the author's website. For modpacks on Forge/MC <=1.5 you will still need to add the OptiFine files into the modpack.jar file for the pack.
