Bisoros Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 My modpack (http://www.technicpack.net/api/modpack/koyoskraft) crashes when I open it (http://forums.technicpack.net/uploads/monthly_08_2014/tracker-224105-0-00492700-1409059816.jpeg). I had this problem before () and than I solved it (thx to plowmanplow). I added the lastest mods to it and now I have the same problem. I observed it crashes before unzipping the bin folder. How can I fix this problem? P.S.: Is it so hard to make a modpack or I am a noob?
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted September 3, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted September 3, 2014 The ZIP library used by the Launcher doesn't like color code characters in file names. Look in your shaderpacks folder. Rename the Paolos LagLess Shaders file that has the color code characters in it to something else without those special characters. Many of the weapons packs in the Flan folder are throwing massive errors into the Forge latest log. Not sure what will be the result of that long term, but it looks sketchy. Bisoros 1
Bisoros Posted September 4, 2014 Author Posted September 4, 2014 The problem was with the shader, and I also tested the flan packs in a special evironment and the errors were only the missing textures ones and a problem with the knife.

Not that you can really do much about those. There isn't a lot of coordination in the development of the different packs by different authors. Glad it's working now.
