How do i update?

I finally got the launcher working but now it plays in minecraft 1.1 and in single player a message pops up saying it needs updating, are these the same problem and how do i respond/activate the ingame message?

The updating is probably REI's Minimap, since it'll say if it's outdated or not. Which if you're playing the 1.1 build it is.

Anyways, 1.1 is the latest version of Minecraft you'll get with Technic without using Dev Builds.

It's usually matmos that complains about being out of date, from what I remember. You don't have to worry about it.

its just i tried a couple of tekkit servers and got the 'outdated by client' message...
