Hello,

 

First off, just noticed the method to fire ICBM  has changed? I used to have buttons to fire the missiles but now they do not work nor do any other form of redstone. They only fire if you have a constant redstone signal (torch or lever always on) and change the coords manually (so if you use a radar gun, you have to +1 to the coord for it to fire). Is this a bug or is this just a stupid change to the mod?

 

Secondly, I use Dark Security on ComputerCraft for door locks but it is no longer outputting redstone at all regardless of direction. I thought it could be a script error since it was written in like 2013 but then if it is, the script would crash and show an error like it does with everything else wouldn't it?

It works fine on the 1.5.2 version of CC but on 1.6.4 it doesn't.

The launching mechanics were changed to need a constant signal to prevent accidental firings due to a blip of a redstone signal. Don't exactly want one going off in your own base accidentally, do ya?

That wouldn't occur since the detonation height is set far higher than the silo, also I never had any issues on the 1.5.2 version when using a button.

 

So how does it work now? It needs a constant signal, but how would you fire them then? You have to manually edit the coords? -_-

 

I've noticed a few items also, when used crash the client such as the mining laser & TPing to things quite far away can close the client.

 

 

My S key for TrainCraft doesn't work also. Haha, their seems to be a lot in editing a modpack.

sounds like you're using a dodgy build of Cauldron (MCPC+) i had a similar problem that was fixed by updating to a more recent version,

 

if that's not the case then, I'm sorry but at least it was worth a shot right?

Once it has a coordinate to go to, it just needs the constant signal for about 5-10 seconds (don't remember exact timing on this) using a lever or redstone torch.

Ah, that makes sense.

 

So I need levers instead of buttons.. little disappointed but oh well. :D
