KaosDragon Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 So I've been running around with my powersuit and carrying around an energy cell for power and everything was fine, but I recently made a Flux-Infused Sword and it's been getting drained instead of my energy cell. Is there some way around this?
redsector Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 (edited) Try playing around with different inventory positions for the cell and sword. I have no idea how the powersuit chooses which item to drain energy from, but perhaps it simply scans your inventory and uses whatever comes first. At least that's how the autofeeder module works (uses "first" food item it comes across, scanning from top left to bottom right), maybe the same algorithm is used to look for RF items, who knows. Otherwise, the obvious solution would be to use proper MPS battery modules instead of the energy cell bug. The suit will only drain your RF tools when its internal batteries are empty or not there at all. Edited September 13, 2014 by redsector
Curunir Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 I have been using Redstone Arsenal gear together with a no-battery Powersuit, and it worked fine. I did have a Flux Capacitor on my hotbar in addition to the Energy Cell in my inventory, maybe that is the difference here.
