Question

Posted

Technic always crashes whenever I try to create a new world. I would see the GUI with a black screen and then it would go to Saving Chunks. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit, 1.6 x64 Java (although I do have 1.7 installed).

Man...I was totally looking forward to 1.2.5 too. :(

Thanks for pointing that out, but, with all due respect, there is no need to be an ass about it. I understand it's frustrating when members are led to different parts of a forum, but a simple link to the correct webpage will do. Thanks again.

Think of it this way. In addition to working the mod pack, modding the forums and all that. Technic forums is over run by people who seem to refuse to ackknowlledge the possibility of the stickies or search bar helping them. We get hundreds of questions EVERY DAY that 98 percent of them are answered in stickies. As well as people refusing to use the bug report and such.

So, with having to deal with this every day, technic pretty much has a stance against most of the people who derp around on here.

So what you need to do is go in and delete your ssp technic folder inside your .technic launcher. This will reset the issue, then open the launcher. select technic ssp, and don't start the game until you have fixed the setting to the latest build, because if you reinstall the recommended build you will be exactly where you started off...
