Wooden pipes switching on chunk load?

Alright so recently I tossed my server onto a seperate machine and lately everything has been running much better with the sole exception of a strange bug with the buildcraft wooden pipes. I'm not sure if this is a bug or not but it's frustrating to me to see the wooden pipes hooked up to machines, crafting tables etc; automatically switching their input and output faces. Not sure if anyone else is having this trouble but if there's a way I can fix it without having to kill the dedicated server, that be great

Solution is to make all chunks have chunkloader blocks!

But seriously, it could work.

Just never restart the server.

Is the wooden pipe the only piece of pipe between the two blocks? If so, try adding a piece of cobblestone or other pipe so the pipe length is 2 or longer. This gives the wooden pipe only one valid configuration instead of two.
