I know tekkit is, technic + bukkit

But could you release a vinilla server for the people who just play with there friends,

I check the bukkit mods page alot, almost every mod is updated except RP2,

so can u work on a vinilla tekkt server?

No they cannot, I can't remember the rule but it says that they cannot release vanilla server stuff or something like that. You could however build it yourself... Have at it!

By the way, your analysis that Tekkit = Technic + Bukkit is laughable. Tekkit = Bukkit Servers with many mods that also kinda exist in technic. But they have different mods, and Tekkit is almost a separate game to Technic based on how i've played the two.
