Technic launcher unable to work.

Launcher/pack Version: Not fully sure which version it is but it is the latest one downloaded from the homepage.

Operating System: Vista

Version of Java:Version 6 Update 31

Description of Problem: I have installed the launcher but the mod select icon is grayed out and the mod images do not show, I have set notepad to open all .cfg files so I am currently stuck as to what I should do next.

Antivirus program: AVG

Error Messages: None

Edit .techniclauncher\<modpack>\config\ModLoader.cfg directly.

There are no files anywhere in that file, or any other /config file anywhere in the technic packs files.

I am going to redownload and see if that works.

Edit: Same thing as last time. Any ideas?

Clear your launcher cache and actually launch the modpacks. This would explain why ModLoader.cfg wasn't generated.

Forget clearing the cache, just launch one of the modpacks.

How? When I look into the /.techniclauncher files I cant see any of the mods, they seem to be located in the /launcher file, and even then the mods only have a blank /resources file.

Ok, now the mod launcher button is not grayed out and I can click it, but It doesent seem to do anything, the images are still not showing up, and when I click log in It tells me a new update for spoutcraft is avalable, I click yes and after abour 3 seconds it says update failed.
