help with posting

How d oyou use the "my media" button when posting?

I am used to putting in url and it working but in this case it doesn't seem to work

could someone help plz

Are you wanting to insert an image in your post?
Just upload it to imgur and use the link with the [img*] [/img*] tags.

I have read the rules and sorry I didn't post there but I didn't see a sub forum for this stuff.

 

Any way as for my question i wanted to post a video then have the video show up within my post if that helps

The rules thing is something that is always added to my messages. It's my signature. It wasn't specifically aimed at you, though it's good that you've read the rules.

As for the video: if your video is hosted on YouTube, the forums should automatically display it if you put the full link in your post. Don't know if it does that for other video hosts as well. You'll have to test that yourself.

yeh it is hosted on youtube 

and I triple checked the link to ckeck it was correct.

the only thing i can think of is that it was just published.

 

but anyway thx for you help!
