Cant host a server in attack of the bteam

Im trying to host a attack of the bteam server so me and my friend can play it. When ive done everything and trying to start the server, this comes up:

 

Error occured during initialization of VM

Could not reserve enough space for object heap

Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.

Error: A fatal exception has occured. Program will now exit.

 

First of all, ive checked so i have enough ram on my computer (8gb) i have it set as xmx3GB on my server.

I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO.

any ideas?

Saw.. Check you Java arguments to see if you have enough memory dedicated to heap size... Just allocating RAM for the game is not enough... If you don't get it figured out, you and your friends are more than welcome to join my server and play on...  Look for the post Texas Minecraft Mafia presents AOTBT....

You attempted to allocate more RAM to the server than is actually available.

Agreed with Kal, seams like you need to update java 64bit, if your system is only a 32bit you can ONLY use xmx1G

also i noticed you used xmx3GB, should just be xmx3G
