So I've got a really weird bug with a Pressure Plate. It works just fine, anywhere at all. Apart from in the one location I need it.

Basically, I have a Wooden Pressure Plate set up to open a wooden door when it's activated, and also activates lamps around the door. This worked perfectly, until one day, it just stopped working.

Here's a screenshot of the setup:

Now, what the problem is, is that the Pressure Plate goes down fine, but won't go back up. At all. I've tried everything. Replacing it with a different pressure plate, removing every block around it, but it won't go back up like it's supposed to. It only goes up after about one minute. Also, around when this started happening, other players reported several cases of Gravel not falling. This Pressure Plate bug persisted, even after removing it, stopping the server, starting the server and placing it back. It works fine anywhere else, but not here.

All of this seemed to occur after using the Watch of Flowing Time for a while. Not sure if it's related.

OS: Windows 7

Tekkit version: 2.1.1

Java version: 1.7.0_04

The server is giving no errors.

How do I fix this?

is there any other lag on the server such as delay openning chests/machines? When logged on type "/debug clock" and see how many ticks per second you are actually getting (do it while at the general area of that pressure plate.

Also I wouldn't use a watch of flowing time in the EE version currently in tekkit... it's a tad buggy.

If the server isn't lagging in general then it suggests block updates are just screwed in that particular chunk. That might mean you need to delete that chunk (and therefore everything in it will go) and regenerate a fresh one. The easiest way to test that I guess would be to bring up the chunk boundries and pop a pressure plate just inside, then just outside the edge of that chunk and compare the 2.
