Minefactory Reloaded not working

Hey there,

so I wanted to try that interesting thing right here:

But for some reason it seems like its not working. And i would really like to build a FULLY automatic farming machine/method for wheat, sugar canes, etc. ...

Would be glad if anyone could help,

P.S.: Main problem is that i cant get those Steel ingots from 1 iron ingot and 4 coal.

Nobody knows anything because minefactory hasnt been in technic for long time.
