Can't enter the nether on my tekkit server.

I'm trying to get a transmutation tablet, but for that I need a philosipher's stone, which means glowstone is required.

So here's the deal, when I walk into my portal and stand in it, it just makes my screen go all wavey as if i'm entering the nether, but it stops just before it allows me to enter.

I did search for a thread similar to this before posting, so sorry if I somehow missed it.

I'd very much appreciate a bit of assistance.

The Nether might be disabled in the server configs.

Hey bud you should not sign your posts! Maybe also submit a proper bug report! And then, maybe you can make sure that the Nether is even enable like the guy above me said!
