technic launcher runs out of memory every 20 mins.

allocating 1 gb is the fasted but crashes the most if i up it to 2.5 gb in the launcher it says in f3 that its using only 256 mb and is even slower, help?

The TECHNIC LAUNCHER? Impossible, it can't use that much RAM. I think it's the game.

It's sorta the same for me, on my PC Tekkit runs out of memory (I gave it 1.5, then 1GB) very so often, which makes SMP kind of hard to play. When I hit Return to Main Menu, it just runs out of memory again. I just restart it.

Do you have different versions of Java or Windows, might be useful info for the devs :)

Actually, on the PC it's Java 4u6, and on the laptop it's Java 4u7.
