Railcraft bug/error?

Launcher/pack Version: Tekkit 3.0.4(Server)

Operating System: Windows 7 64 bit

Version of Java: v7 64 bit

Description of Problem: Well the error is that the server crashes everytime a player spawns/uses(Can't do that becouse can't spawn/Didn't try making) it will give "Interal server error", I had a error before this that said: "Error loading Railcraft Save Data: Not in GZIP format" to fix that I converted it to a "Tgz" file from rar. As the server wouldn't run without this change i had to do it. But now ... Railcraft isn't working. Using 3.0.3 didn't matter either

I am having a hard time understanding what the problem is? Can you not log in? Not place railcraft blocks? Did you convert a world?

very simple all you have to do is go into the folder named "mods" and rename the railcraft mod from .zip to .tgz Hope this helped

Well the problem is that i can't use railcraft, and i already did the zip to tgz.

Thanks for the help sct, gave me a little idea what to do, i deleted the railcraft.dat in my server folder and it started working like a dream again =)

Have both renamed the railcraft mod, and removed the file, and still cannot craft the rolling machine. Thoughts?

EDIT - When I try to craft the rolling machine, it flashes briefly in the crafting table output and then disappears. It cannot be crafted at all with CT3, and when I try to spawn it in manually with NEI it crashes the client.

EDIT 2 - This is with server 3.0.4.

For some reason whenever you use the reload command you cant craft any mod items, just restart the server and you should be able to craft it

Never used the reload command, and have restarted the server in an attempt to fix it. Unfortunately no joy. Trying to craft the rolling machine is the only mod that causes me any issues.

I went in and replaced the 3.0.4 railcraft mod with the one from 3.0.3. No idea if there is a difference in mods or if it was just slightly corrupted, either way this was the fix.
