Changing the installation directory?

Perfect World

Question

I want to install this on my ssd drive but every time I run the launcher it just keeps defaulting to AppData on my C drive. I've looked in the launcher options and can't see anything related to that. I've tried moving the files to the SSD drive but of course as soon as I log into the launcher it runs everything from the C drives AppData.

This might be possible by making %APPDATA%\.techniclauncher a symbolic link to your SSD drive, see e.g. http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-symlinks-in-windows-vista/:

So basically, just move the directory to your SSD (let's assume it's F:\techniclauncher\now), open a command prompt and enter

mklink /d %APPDATA%\.techniclauncher F:\techniclauncher
