powersthatbe85
So we made a 6 axis airship but every time it moves more then 5 spaces the game client goes to the all dirt screen and freezes. What do you guys think it is? Too many frames being moved at once? I have a beast computer so i don't think its that. Is there a setting on the server or client to help reduce the crashing? ledhead900
I don't think it is you. I'm putting on the you timed out to the server from lag. Seems it is the same deal with anything that moves large blocks around its going to lag up the server unless they have a beast connection and decent server to host on. Personally id just disable the darn thing.
Jusupov
It doesn't create any lag for our server and it's moving close to the set max of 1000 blocks. Read your log file to see the crash and post in the bug forum
powersthatbe85
update: Putting non redpower items on the ship like chests from EE or IC2 stuff is what is causing our crashing. Removed them and it worked fine.
powersthatbe85
This issue continues to plague my server. anyone near moving redpower ships has their client crashing constantly Is anyone else having these issues?
MehdiSaffar
oh yes i have the exact same issue as yours, if i stay in the same chunk where moving frames are, my client crashes ... i gave up designing frames on SMP
