[Tekkit 3.0.4][Bug]CC Disk Drive Dupe Bug

Question

Posted

Launcher/pack Version: Tekkit v 3.0.4

Operating System: Windows 7 64 bit

Version of Java: v7 64 bit

Description of Problem:

The bug involves shift-clicking interactions with the Disk Drive. Shift-clicking an item out of the drive' date=' and shift-clicking another item, will create a sort of 'ghost' version of the first item. The 'ghost' item will disappear when trying to stack or when held when attempting a right-click operation (whether it opening a GUI, or placing a block). The 'ghost' item will interact normally with GUI of blocks, and can be transmuted, macerated, store energy, burned, used in crafting recipes, etc. [/quote']

Macc188 obviously didn't read the sticky, but the issue he describes is a reproducible dupe bug. If anyone can post a work-around for this problem I'd sure appreciate it.

hey thanks for telling. now i can try to stop this. but i dont get why a modder would let you put a diamond or other item in a disk drive...

cant we stop this by disabling the item interaction with an other item then a disk when facing a disc drive? i think there was a plugin for that, but it requires spoutcraft...

For now I just ran midas and removed all disk drives, and disabled crafting disk drives with disablecraft. A rough work around, as I'd like to be able to use the disk drives. It'll do for now though.
