Cannot connect to server

So for a couple months a mate and i were playing a technic server together and then one day the server started saying to use cannot reach server...so i checked my fire wall, router, modem, and everything else under the sun still can't fix my issue

can anyone help me out?

Have you checked the slugs in your garden? how about your neighbors sisters gmail account?

When you say 'checked your firewall', which firewall did you check? Windows Firewall? Firewall provided by antivirus/internet security program (Kaspersky for example)? Hardware firewall (router?)

Did you have some ports forwarded that could have got reset? If you're not on a static IP, maybe you'll have to change the ip address you use to log in? Bunch of variables here.
