  3. I told you guys new stuff was on its way and HERE IT IS! PUNKER180'S MOD PACK WEBSITE! Covers SSP mod pack SMP mod pack (only for those who join forums and leave a post[mainly because its still beta and dont want it getting passed around just yet >.<]) and soooooon a server! just need some admins and some players before starting (dont want to buy a server and have 3 people in it thatd be dumb.) Also site is still a work in progress, like many things this was a self project.
  4. In less then an hour I'm Pulling the download. But on a side note I have acquired some money for a small server. I will Buy it soon enough But I would like to get everything surrounding it done first. Mods in it so far are: ComputerCraft Rei Minimap Advanced Machines Buildcraft Crafting table III EE2 (considering removing and using a shop pluggin with sell values at the same value as the EMC in EE2) Enderstorage Forestry IC2 Nuclear Controls Immibis Core & Tubestuff IC2 InvTweaks MAtmos Charging Bench Compact Solars Iron Chests Nether Ores Power Converters Railcraft Redpower Wireless Redstone - Chickenbones Edition And the mods I am looking into adding now are: Kaevator Super Slopes Mo Creatures Balkons Weapons Mod First I need to setup a free website thingy for people to join the server and get the Mod Pack. Add in the rest of the mods. And choose some good plugins! So far plugin wise I have: Chest Shops iConomy SignLift I need more protection plugins to setup a map and to get some admins! probably a rank system 2. Leave me suggestions! And remember the singleplayer modpack will be taken down soon

  6. Dropping it later tonight lol I had a SMP post but i see the moderators took it down? I have an SMP mod pack made and started a donate button to build a server for it but I dont think they liked that so it was removed... I couldnt find anything against it in the rules but oh well.

I've been tinkering with some stuff but I think tree capitator will be removed. due to things like a thaumcraft axe being completely useless with it active. it makes the game far to easy on the tree front. also looking at the green stone wire mod now that its forge compatible. it is a very awesome mod but i have to say that the resource usage is 2 low making it OP. But if either the option to config the resource use is added or the he edits it himself to make it 1 greenstone per block it has to traverse, if he can do something like that ill ask him if i may add his mod. but due to the fact that it isnt a real cost to do so building with it just makes it a bit 2 easy. Flora and Soma definitely does look VERY sexy. and on the decorative mods my team has brought to my attention Decoratives Mod and I am going to try and include this into the creative release. =)
  9. So with FML it takes the dependencies of modloader and modloaderMP right? well what if a mod u like isnt built for forge only and still needs modloader or modloaderMP? if i put them in with forge still will it crash it? are they incompatible now or do they work the same?
  10. I'll let you in on something. We are going to work towards better compatibility 2. =) thats if we get mod author permission to edit... *hint hint mystcraft compatibility* Our goals for 1.3 are huge. and maybe we wont meet the expectations we have. but hey, we are betting we will get far =D. here's acouple things on the list and I want opinions on more we should add to the list: 1. Better mod compatibility 2. More mods 3. If i can ever get enough hours to support it a server for all to play on. (also considering a donate button but i'd feel shitty cuz these arent mine im only putting them together to benefit you guys) 4. Still on the drawing board but ErusPrime has given me the idea to add more creative stuff to design great looking buildings and more. 5. I'm an absolute shit artist but hoping someone will come forth that is willing to make a texture pack for our 1.3 release. 6. Still wondering how millenaire will work out with the new villagers being able to trade. hoping they will come out with something eye opening that will make it still wanted. =( 7. The only mod I've seen that has real animal harvesting is Minefactory but... not compatible with BC 3.0 so here hoping that someone will create a good mob harvest mod. and again list me any ideas that you guys may come up with! =)
  11. Hmmmm I've never encountered that yet lol (and has like 12 read farms) (for thaumcraft and more usage) and havent had that yet. it freezes directly after hitting it? Ill let me team know and let them work there magic =) cuz my team is awesome. And thank you very much for the bug report its a huge help. also for all that need to know the mod pack will be dropped from public beta on the 18th. What ever bugs are reported we will fix and we will be looking at a full release. this mod pack wont receive any more mods unfortunately at this time. BECAUSE, we are waiting for 1.3 (since it should be right around the corner) and SMP has been stopped till we can afford a server (as a job as a bagger at a convenient store just doesnt pay enough to pay for it myself) because we would like to be able to host the server and continually build upon it and have you the users play with it! (bug test and dick around) But we will be doing a big release as Mods come out for 1.3. ALSO looking for a new team member to join us. simply to build the InvTweaks item sorting properties and stuff like that (to add more mod integration) PM me if you would like to join the team. p.s. if you post ur request to join the team on this forum and not in a PM it will be ignored. dnt want people on this team that cant listen. (read) And more on that SMP we cant wait till 1.3 because its been talked about that Thaumcraft 2 will be releasing SMP for 1.3!!!! cant wait so excited. Thanks all! Talked to my team member and he believes you broke the read while the chunk was loading. (a.k.a. it was on another chunk and was trying to load when u destroyed the block.)
  12. Flora and Soma really interests me alot. Advanced HUD was experimented with on earlier builds of this (before i had a team) and it was a big lag pull on lower computers (my friends with bad computers) But with the help of my team it might go back in Slopes is one I've been playing with also. But the part that brought it off the list is how many block ID's it takes. look at redpower microblocks. so little on the ID front. don't get me wrong I have the space for the ID's but. Idk it just feels like a sloppy mod. But this build was for the many that have not experienced these mods. as for the ones you say are preference are and all you have to do is go into the modloader and tell it no to those mods. As for battle towers I am waiting for 1.3 to do the next big changes. this one is just the start. But if you can talk to mDiyo about if he can reduce the number of ID's slopes takes. I would be ever so happy to add it as I personally love taking the game into creative mode and building some random giant ass awesome complex buildings with awesome factories hidden beneath just for fun! if he is able to update it in that way for patch 1.3 i will do 2 mod pack releases in 1.3 1 for my regular mod pack and then on the side i will add the creative stuff u mentioned in another pack. And as for the person who mentions IC2 addons I have BCIC2 Crossover, Power Converters, Compact Solars, and we are even looking at the option of adding the IC2 Nuclear Control! the modular forcefields addon sounds nice and all but i mean other than SMP it didnt sound interesting... if u can give me like a detailed reasoning on why it would be a good addition on ANY of those IC2 addons u mentioned I will consider them, but just from reading there forums posts ill be honest I wasnt drawn in. The others you mentioned just felt to complex for a basic minecraft player. but like i said. give me a valid argument and i will definitely consider

  15. I released the SSP for public test today =) SMP is just getting started. MIGHT not be out in time before 1.3 but who knows. lol

My Mod Team and I have had no more bugs that we have come to see (I played all the way through to the dragon and no bugs.... twice...) keep in mind i have tested this ONLY with vanilla villages off. I am only releasing this for A SHORT TIME. So, please PM me or post all bugs here that you the people can find. (because my team cant rlly find any more) installer is the same as oldschool technic. extract the folder, run the jar with java, install, play! KEEP IN MIND that this goes on a FRESH install of minecraft. not on a technic world as the IDs are incompatible. I look forward to feed back keep in mind that this download will only be up for acouple days as to not get in 2 much trouble with the mod authors who have not given us permission YET. But while we await your bug reports I will start working on my SMP pack. Have fun and thank you for waiting patiently.

Well since my installer guy has gone MIA I am in need for a new team (since it was just me and Nicket97 and he is missing) If youd like to join PM me (plz have java programming knowledge) the pack is pretty much done and ready to go (just needs installer built) I have taken care of all bugs reported personally. But again need someone to create installer. (so I can do that public release for a bit)(for public bug testing)
  19. After pages and PAGES of crash errors the problem was actually in fact mo creatures. portalgun still messes with your minimap (bug in mod itself look at mod authors page for details) But with mo creatures removed I was able to implement another mod =) Power Converters for BC 3.X!!!

It seems the issue was with 2 mods. thaumcraft had a compatibility issue but when they updated to 2.1.6 it fixed the issue. the standing issue is portalgun mod now. and since we cannot change his mod legally I am considering either leaving the option to use it (if u click the checkbox in the install) or removing it completely. sad thing is for ME the crash is if i place a HV solar and convert its energy all the way down into a bat box then create both portals it crashes.
  21. Here soon we are going to be doing a limited test. By that I mean I am posting the pack for ONE DAY. After that the link will be removed until later dates. In this one day I will also set up another forum page here (will leave a link when made). and in this forum page just list me your bugs. (if sending an error log please put spoilers so each comment isn't a page long). We've already cleared alot of bugs would really like the awesome help from the awesome technic followers =D. Also, to anyone who finds a bug AND has the solution to said bug already solved for us, you will be mentioned along its release. A.K.A. (Example) Testers and Bug finders: Your Name Here Punker180 Random Joe Spongebob This public testing is because I only have a team of me and Nicket97 on the minecraft forums. We are just outsourcing our testing to you the community to further this project. (currently fixing a portalgun and compact solars issue) But once the issue is fixed and Nicket97 rebuilds the installer we will decide a date which again I will post here before hand (because we dont have a set date just yet but I will post atleast a day in advanced.) Also: If there are any questions about why I am using a mod in this pack feel free to reply to this thread about it. I received a PM the other day asking why I added more pistons when we now have frames. Well simply put I like the simplicity of the more pistons mod. place a piston and place a lever done!

But to be honest its looking like we have to go oldschool technic on it &gt;.&lt;
  23. Hm. dropbox and direct downloads are one thing the trick is figuring out how to get it to download adfly links and all that... hmmmm.
  24. So in other words the mods have to be downloaded from there mod authors using the installer for it to work out?
  25. I download them and then put them into a folder called mods in the installer.
