All the mods will be in the download for the mod pack (just like oldschool technic launcher) but they will be unchecked on install page. if you go all the way through install just hitting next you will miss out on the mods without permission. but if u click there check boxes you will get all the mods listed on OP
  2. K so now I've got a question for the technic forums people. I'm using the old technic installer. and if I were to just simply make the mods I dont have permission on unchecked in the installer so the user has to manually click the check box if they would like that mod, would that make it legal? (because several authors refuse to even write back and the mod pack is ready for release and has been so for awhile)
  3. Well if you were smart enough to read the whole thing I state in one of my posts on this thread. Some mods in the pack on the minecraft forums they state that they dont allow any more modpacks or some dont allow them at all. but I still bothered to ask because all my team and I are trying to do is release this for the community. No profit. No claiming anything as ours. Just to help out fellow Minecraft players. So if you cant read dont post. read very carefully next time.
  4. Yes mine has those but it has so much more than the basic. but I don't discourage playing technic. I love technic 2 hell I play it when I'm not working on this pack. currently there is no download link due to waiting on permissions. Technically speaking its ready for release now. bugs are all fixed (minus the ones that are on developers end because from there copyright legal stand point we can not modify there creations) It is ready (even with an installer) we are waiting on permission lol thats why we have this for suggestions at the moment. We are adding more because we have the availability lol. but until the last of the permissions are given we have to just sit on our hands...
  5. Death Chest quite possible. No way not ever would I remove IC2 for flowerchilds cute little mod. simply put. no BTW = all the mods on my list. BTW = only acouple. the pack is to Show other mod lovers more possibilities with combinations of great mods. BTW was so boring and incompatible. IC2 is a big part of minecraft to me and I wouldnt change that for a mod that made me bored in an hour. Not to mention all the stuff Alblaka will be bringing into the mod! (SPACE)

Well I just added Better Dungeons and we COMPLETELY redid all the block ID's and all mods are working well with each other (small bug here and there but we are working on it) Its almost completely ready but we really would like to wait for author permission. I don't want people to (no offense) look at us like some look badly on the technic crew. I really love what technic has done I've followed them since the beginning. And what theyve done for the community by simply sharing all the mods they do for the community and not even using an adfly is inspiring! They are doing the same thing trying to get author permissions now. Im actually hoping that after all the work we are putting into this they will consider adding us to there launcher!   8. Permission to do this pack is slowly rolling in and bug fixing is a slow process but is coming along nicely. And i am prepared to remove any material an author says i may not use or by the time of release still do not have a reply

Just got EE permission to use there mod in this pack (not to mention the ones in the pack the are usable without need for permission as long as u link to there site and give them credit) Also messing with some mods right now in the pack like ExtrabiomesXL , Additional Buildcraft Objects , MAtmos , Compact Solars , Logistics Pipes , and Nether Harvest I put them in the pack and am messing with them, i need permission from the authors still before i can release them publicly. Also still wondering if i should add Minions , Twilight Forest , Castle Defenders , Craftable Mob Eggs , Note Block Display With GUI , Ropes+(obviously needs the other ropes mods which are listed on its page)
  10. sorry I asked for help on the installer thing as i was driving to another state lol ok so i have an installer now (not the one you linked) and as the fact that i do no have full author permissions yet (yet to do but in progress) and was also wondering if a moderator can tell me if this is out of line and against anything (will i step on toes) if i ask here for testers. as in right now im looking for some testers for the pack and am I able to distribute the pack to them but on a private basis (a.k.a. no public link only for the people i deem fit to test it?) plz let me no if that is out of line in any way and if its not, looking for testers! please PM me and list your name, age, and why you should be a tester. (will reply back with a deny or accept on requests)

Thats true thanks for the input and im working on it now (only time will tell what will be allowed. if anything and i CANT get authorization i can just do it Direwolf20 style and just put links and show you how to install all the mods on a youtube video with my configuration files for proper block ids and all

At the moment it is looking for public suggestions. for the time being it is still private (to play suggestions still open) because i do still want to try and get author authorization. the mods listed in my pack are named but i do not have a download link only the links to the author themselves.

I've searched the forums and cant find an answer. all i need to know is how to change the location of where the .techniclauncher is. point being its going onto my 32gb ssd and i need it 2 go to my 2tb secondary. because when i have all the packs loaded into my hard drive it cant handle that.(not enough space) so i have to delete one pack to play another. this issue is really bothersome and i appreciate any help anyone can offer. i want to pretty much set it up to go to [D:\Technic]

So if I may ask what made you guys decide upon Buildcraft 3.0 if it has compatibility issues upon a mod that tehkrush (whom i believe is a member of the technic team) is working on now? or are u working on a fix to fix said compatibility problems? sorry if my questions irritated you guys im just wondering what made u guys want 2.0 in smp and allow tehkrush's mods(and possibly others) and 3.0 on spp for some compatibility lose? dnt get me wrong i love the features 3.0 has to offer i am just curious as to the thought process that was made on deciding upon what to do? (not trying to offend just curious)
  19. why is Minefactory Reloaded in SMP but not the SSP? in the SSP forums people are saying its because Forestry and other take over what it offered and so its no longer necessary. but SMP has forestry and all the other mods that take its place in it 2! so id just like to know what gives and why Tehkrush's mods are only in SMP. (ssp is also missing the power converters and nether ores)
