  1. I actually just figured it out after reading a thread on why IC2 was removed. It opened my eyes. If I want to use IC2 I'll play TekkitLite, if I want to go to the moon and other cool stuff, I'll play Tekkit. Goodjob, technicpack.net. I'm genuinely happy about your decisions.
  2. Just my input here, didn't bother to read the entire comment section but it seems to be that people are just scared of change. They don't want to learn anything new because IC2 is really easy. Just one mans thoughts.
  3. I was reading up on it and it just had Basic Components, the mod itself, and forge.
  4. So to put it plain and simple, I would like to make Galacticraft work with tekkit lite. I was hoping it would be so simple as to download the 1.4.7 version of Galacticraft and have it work in the coremods folder of TekkitLite. That's not the case here. It popped up with a few errors. Any ideas?
  5. I'm having issues running any mods on any servers whatsoever. This includes just TekkitLite and Tekkit as far as I'm aware. Are there any known fixes? I've tried copying the mods from the client side over (didn't work). And re-downloading simultaneous times. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
  6. Might have found a solution. FYI --edit-- figured it out. Made the world single player, deleted the dimensional loaders. Reloaded the world with everything and it worked!
  7. Recently the power went out in our server building while TekkitLite was running. We are currently running the latest version of tekkitlite 0.5.2 and have no plugins. I've gone in with MCEdit on the world and deleted our dimensional loaders and that seemed to work, for a while... After that I went back in and discovered a bunch of regular turtles, and wireless red-stone receivers. It confused me. My question; How do I fix this without having to edit my world? I don't know why all of the sudden it would crap out, we've shut down and restarted it many times. P.S. We've even reloaded all the mods into the folder. Downloaded a new server jar, etc..
  8. https://www.dropbox.com/s/dzncdaekramb14h/2013-01-16_16.02.52.png I can confirm that I can see marble just fine. It would be a very big problem if I couldn't use marble as it's one of my building materials I use the most, along with stone bricks. I'd suggest re downloading the server files. I would upload my server files to help you but I don't think that is allow, for safety purposes. Any luck?
  9. I can't tell if you're floating or not, I am assuming you aren't. Was your world a clean world from TekkitLite, or did it come from tekkitClassic? Just wondering. --Hopefully you backed up your world. Did you? I will continue to look through the mods, but it seems that when it says this 2013-01-16 21:12:56 [sEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] This world was saved with mod IC2 which appears to be missing, things may not work well Things may not work well. I wonder if Tekkitlite updated their server but went under the same name? I don't have this issue and to fix these problems locally with friends I send them my server files. I guess try loading a new world (Make sure to back up )and see if the marble is still there, or the logs look the same.
  10. I'm pretty sure it's not in the logs. I haven't really found anything that errors in the logs. Except all those Forge Mod Loader logs. Looks to me like an error. I noticed when I started a single player world it said something about Railcraft and I had to click "yes or no". When you say that the marble is gone, do you mean like physically gone, or just transparent, almost like a world hole or something?
  11. How "up-to-date" are you on the mods? I might be interesting in expanding my little one. I'm absolutely sure that the computer can handle it
  12. I can confirm that I'm not having the issue, my server's been up for a day now. Did you make any drastic changes?
  13. I am siding towards your server being faulty. 0.5.2 has been perfect for me so far running wise. I have bukkitforge and a few plugins. The update didn't screw me over in any kind of way (maybe it has and I just haven't noticed). Sometimes I get connection errors when I click on a server to soon, or it just kind of craps out on me and I have to restart my client. Restarting my client usually tends to fix things though. Have you made sure all your ports are forwarded, or maybe something in the config file went wrong. What I would do if I had this issue would have to be; download a clean server, run it, make sure the port is still forwarded, restart the new server, and then try connecting and have your friends try to connect. If they can connect then maybe it's just your old server that you're running. In that case I would backup your world, then try updating your server again. Preferably just grabbing a new tekkitlite server, running it, then replace the new world with your previous world. I'm not sure if you have any mods on it or anything that you'd need to copy over, but I think you could figure that out.
  14. Go to recipe mode and just kind of click through, see what you can come up with!
  15. Just a little tip. The way I usually update my server is downloading the server you want, run it, and then just copy your world over. If you are using bukkitforge then update and copy your plugins folder over. My statement is pretty vague for helping, but it's what I do when I update.
  16. Just to help for the original topic at hand. Go to the tekkit lite server download page. http://www.technicpack.net/tekkit-lite/ Right click on the "Download the Tekkit Lite server" I don't know what browser you use, but for chrome and firefox you should just be able to copy the link address (Don't click on it) and it should look like this http://mirror.technicpack.net/Technic/servers/tekkitlite/Tekkit_Lite_Server_0.5.2.zip Now to download the server you want just change the last number, it's that simple http://mirror.technicpack.net/Technic/servers/tekkitlite/Tekkit_Lite_Server_0.5.1.zip
  17. I did that before you had even mentioned it, just because it seemed like a reasonable solution. Didn't work lol. I gave up and just decided to keep the nether. The reason for me wanting to change 'Nethers' is 1.) the fact that I simply wanted to be near a stronghold. I had to travel about 3000 blocks away from my portal to come across one, and I didn't want to trek back that distance with valuables on me. 2.) Since my friend and I had several non legit nukes we blew it to bits. Good fun! That restore of the world was nice since well, reason 2. I play completely legit so this is a real inconvenience for reason 1. Especially since me and my buddy have gotten real far in the Overworld. Oh well, thanks!
  18. I guess I should have phrased myself better. I was wondering if I could reset (as in get a new) nether. All this is doing is resetting it, which I guess get's half the job done.
  19. Alright I'll try that. -Edit- None of those worked yet. I'll continue to screw around and see. Any other suggestions? I'm dumb, I figured it out. You were right, thanks! lol
  20. I was wondering if there is a way to reset your nether in a server after you had already started it. At first I was thinking that you could just delete the world_nether folder but came to realize that there wasn't one, or if there is I'm just to blind to see it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
