  1. I'm ready to admit that I searched the heck out of my computer, asked my friends and wasted two notebooks, just to find a fitting modpack for you. I didn't find a kind of modpack that matched every mod that you wanted, though. But it took me way too long to realize that I have the FTB (Feed The Beast) launcher. Have you heard of that before? Anyway, I remembered that the FTB launcher has got a couple of modpacks that match many of your wanted mods. Although, I only chose one of the modpacks. I wrote down every single mod, on my notebook, that yours and the FTB Ultimate (a modpack from that launcher) had in common, and I promise you, it took a LONG while. Okay, so lets look at the mods yours and FTB Ulitmate had in common. Steves Carts Twilight Forest Soulshards SecretRooms Forestry Buildcraft Industrialcraft2 Factorization Computercraft NEI plugins Nether Ores Redpower Thaumcraft Omnitools Modular Powersuits Mystcraft Iron Chest Railcraft Thermal Expansion Portal Gun Gravigun (you wrote "gravity gun", so I'm not sure this is the one you ment) Extra Bioms (not XL) Phew, that was a lot. If you want this modpack and launcher, you can tell me, because right now, I'm having a bit of a problem to put in a link to download it. Hope that you found this modpack at least a little interesting. EDIT: I forgot to mention that this modpack has got a minimap as well, but not Rei's Minimap. I think it's the Voxelmap I mean. This one shows icons of hostile mob (and peaceful ones if you want) and players on the map.
  2. Sometimes I wish I was in a videogame, because real life is boring.

  3. It might be so that your Launcher isn't able to connect to the net. Before you open it, try right clicking, and on the menu, click on "run as admin". This only works on Windows, though.
  4. Launcher Version: 1.1.2.0 Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit Java Version: 7 Antivirus Program: McAfee Description of Problem: After I click on login after opening launcher and selecting modpack and so on, it loads for a while and then the mojang screen shows up. But then, it freezes for a LONG while, and then it just closes and removes the technic launcher from my taskbar (or whatever it's called). Error Messages: Error Log:
  5. Title: Can't Launch Tekkit Classic Version: 3.1.2 OS: Windows Vista 32bit Java Version: Version 7 Description of Problem: I was trying to launch tekkit classic on the new BETA launcher (for the first time on this computer), it loaded for a bit, and then a message and a log showed up, so I can't launch tekkit classic anymore. Every time I try, the message shows up. Error Messages: Unexpected Error! Error Log: Stack Trace: Exception: IOException Message: Failed to download Minecraft! 6. This was the best comment I've seen in a long time xD
  7. I think mine fits pretty good. It's the Swedish flag with Sweden from "Hetalia", a lion, a kind of map of Sweden and it even says Sverige, which means Sweden in Swedish. So... it's not hard to tell where I'm from. But I keep changing my avatar from time to time, but most of them involves my sweet homeland :3 EDIT: As I said, I keep changing my avatar, so how I described my avatar may not match the one I currently have.
  8. I tested out this after reading your thread, and seems like the bronze armor actually protects you from lava until you get out of it. This might be a bug, as it doesn't specify on any voltz- or mekanism wiki that bronze armor protects you from lava until you get up from it. All I could get from those wikis was "Bronze Armor is crafted from Bronze Ingots. It is the second most powerful armor set in Mekanism, only surpassed by Obsidian Armor." But it might as well be a feature that just hasn't been specified on any wikis yet.
  9. It does? But don't worry about that. I found Voltz's change log. Version 1.0.12 Updated Assembly Line to version 0.2.4.68 Updated Atomic Science to version 0.3.5.137 Updated ICBM to version 1.0.4.135 Updated Mekanism to version 5.2.1 Updated MachineMuse's Powersuits to version 0.2.0.42 Updated Railcraft to version 6.15.0.0 Version 1.0.11 Updated Assembly Line to version 0.2.4.62 Updated Electric Expansion to version 1.3.9 Updated MFFS to version 2.2.8.3.6 Updated MachineMuse's Powersuits to version 0.2.0.23 Version 1.0.10 Added Fluid Mechanics version 0.2.6.14! As I told you earlier, the mods within the modpack updates together with the modpack. So I don't think you have to worry about the mods.
  10. Sorry, but I'm not referring to any of the modpacks, neither Technic Launcher. My friend needs help to download separate mods for regular Minecraft.
  11. Hello fellas. My friend is in need of help. She can't figure out how to download and install mods, and neither can I. She asked me to post this on the forum because she doesn't have an account herself. Can somebody please tell how download and install mods, so I can tell her, so she can stop nagging on me?

    HELP! :(

LAN also requires premium account. If you don't want to pay for a premium account, you can download a free one. But it's illegal, not efficient, it's almost guaranteed to come with a serious virus, and it doesn't support the staff behind Minecraft. So I, and probably everyone else, would recommend to pay for premium accounts.
  13. If the performance is on Max FPS, the game should be a lot faster to play. There are also other things that should make the game faster, like shorten down the render distance, turning of clouds and change the graphics from fancy to fast. If you have done all these things already, then I don't know how else to solve your problem. If your render distance is on far, the game is slower, and it takes a lot of memory compared to shorter distance, which can result with the client crashing after a few minutes after logging in. You can solve this problem by turning the render distance down to normal, short or tiny. If you are sure that the render distance isn't the source of this problem, then I don't know how else to fix it.
  14. Well, I don't know how to solve your redstone problem, but I do know how to replace it, so you don't have to use an item, such as redstone, as a fuel. Just hook up (for example) a coal generator at the back, where there is a dark square, to the back of the enrichment chamber, with wire (tin-, copper- or silver wire will do), place some coal in the generator and wait for it to heat up, and there you go. The tin ore should be turning into tin dust. Another thing you can do is that you place a charged battery, which you charge in an energy cube, into the enrichment chamber, and the same thing should happen. OR, you could do both of these things with your enrichment chamber, and the process should happen a lot faster. Hope this helped.
  15. Hello fellas. I'm having a bit of an issue with Tekkit and Tekkit Lite. I was tired of running around and harvest my plants, such as wheat and carrots, so I built myself a wireless farming turtle. Although, I can't seem to get it to do an automatic harvest cycle from the computer with the wireless modem. I've been able to run the program "lua" by typing it in on the computer, but then a message on the computer pops up that says: lua:36: [string "lua"]:1: '=' expected If anyone can tell me how to connect to the farming turtle to make it do an automatic harvest cycle through commands on the computer, then thank you.
  16. Yeah, I remember that. I was so embarrassed and angry, that I just threw my controler at my screen in the middle of the scene, and hid my face in my hands.
  17. Animating. Drawing. Video gaming. That's roughly what swallows my spare time. I regret nothing.

Great! At least... I think it is. At least, I'm not alone with those hobbies. And that makes me happy!

Add me to the list for the last two!

  18. Yeah, you should, it's an awesome game. I just love to drive around the area with police cars and helicopters at the back of my heels, and just not giving a flying duck about anything.
  19. Can't agree more. San Andreas is probably one of the best games I have for the PS2, together with Vexx, Silent Hill 3, Rayman 3 and Rayman Revolution.
  20. Haha, yeah, don't worry, I've played both of them. Wonderful, beautiful and imaginative games.
  21. Aah, yes, the GTA trio is something you've got to remember. Ooh, those fun and violent hours of playing GTA behind my parents backs, while they thought I was playing Okami. GTA wasn't like Devil May Cry, where you had to go from mission to mission, without having something in between, in GTA, you could just walk around, bashing random people on the street, and simply not giving a flying duck about missions if you didn't want to do them.
  22. Hello fellas. I'm just a bit curious about your opinions about Playstation 2 games. I've been gaming on my NES, SNES, N64, NGamecube, Sega Genesis, XBox, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance and Colour, Playstation 1, 2 and 3 and many other consoles and handhelds (yes, I am a girl who is playing video games, especially "old" ones, on most of her spare time), but I'm running out of games to play, even if that sounds impossible. I've fell in love with PS2 (don't know why), and I wonder if there are any PS2 games that feels special to you, or one that you just like, or just some game that you would recommend to me. I'd love any good adventure/action/horror game. Thank you for being interesting :)
  23. No problem. If it's okay to you, I will leave a message for you, if I figure out something.
  24. No, I'm sorry, I can't think of anything else. I guess you'll have to wait until Voltz updates, so that the mods within it will update as well. As said, I can't think of anything else for you to do. I'm sorry.
  25. You don't have to change the setting. They update automatically when the modpack updates. But if there is a way to update them manually, I don't know about it. Sorry.
