  2. I have read about 20-25 forums on this, but none of the advice works. When I place a Bee House and open it, there is a box in the top right telling me it's in a hostile environment. I've tried EVERY biome (Took ALONG time to find them all Large Biomes seemed a good idea at the time), near trees, away from trees, near water away from water, surrounded with torches (and not), tired placing, removing and placing again several times. But nothing, no matter what I do, I can't get the flipping thing to work. I'm running the Recommended version of Big Dig, on Windows 7 Ult (fully updated), and Java 7 Upd 25. Does anyone actually know how to fix this, or is it completely broken?
  3. Tried with a few arrows in my inventory, worked just like a normal bow. I'm going to assume it's just another bug. Based on my experience thus far, I think Big Dig needs a rename to Big Bug. Great idea, Lots of brilliant mods, but oh my god, so many bugs.
  4. I'm running Big Dig 1.3.9, just made an Energy Bow, charged it up, but it does nothing, nothing at all. I've watched several YouTube vids and read a few forums, but got no help. Bow will not fire no matter which mouse key I press, and I can't enable Fire Mode either. Anyone else having problems?
  5. I'm not quite sure where to put this, so please accept my apology if I'm in the wrong place. I have a major problem with Tekkit Lite, I can be playing for a while, but then without warning the game quits to desktop, sometimes leaving a hs_err file on the desktop, but not everytime. That's fine in of itself (annoying yes, but not the end of the world), however, upon restarting TL, I can't load my world again as it just kills the game. I had a nice map going with some serious Thermal Expansion setup using MV solar power via the Energy Converter, main build and remote linked location protected by Forcefields (in short about 30 hours gametime), TL crashed, map wouldn't reload. Thinking I'd gone overboard with machines, I started a new map, this time I was still material gathering (2-3 hours gametime) same thing happened, this time with NO machines at all. I've tried on both my Laptop and Desktop and get the same thing (more frequent on Laptop) I'm at a total loss of what to do to solve this issue. But playing at the moment seems pointless as my worlds keep getting killed. Desktop. Intel Core i7-920 - 2.67GHz (not overclocked) ATi Radeon HD5770 PCIe Card - 1 Gb (not overclocked) - Catalyst 13-4 12 GB RAM Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1 (Fully updated with every Update available) Java 7u21 (Java SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_21-b11)) TechnicLauncher Build 240 - Always uses Stable builds and 6GB allocated. Laptop. Intel Core i7-2630QM - 2.00GHz (not overclocked) ATi Radeon HD6490M - 768MB available (not overclocked) - Lastest HP drivers (won't accept Catalyst) 8 GB RAM Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 (Fully updated with every Update available) Java 7u21 (Java SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_21-b11)) TechnicLauncher Build 240 - Always uses Stable builds and 4GB allocated.
  6. Any mods removed from packs can be added at user level. I've added OptiFine_1.4.6_HD_U_B2, Thaumcraft 3.0.1c, PowerConvertors_1.4.6, RailCraft_1.4.6-6.14.0.0 and Millenaire3.4.0 (although 1.4.6, they work fine on TekkitLite 0.52 (MineCraft 1.4.7)) [Although, finding a texture pack has been fun ^.^ ] Only Mod I want that I can't get working is Dr Zark's Mo'Creatures - spent about 53 hours on it, but it just will not work. :S
  7. Erm, Launcher isn't on the Desktop. All my Minecraft stuff is either in a dedicated folder on my D: drive, or installed in the appropriate AppData/Roaming/.techniclauncher folder. I only place shortcuts on my Desktop.
  8. Ever since TekkitLite updated to 0.52, when I start the game, I get a LogisticsPipes documents on the desktop. One appears to Notepad .log file, the other is a .log.lck file How do I stop these files being created - I did NOT give permission for these to be created, let alone on the Desktop. If they MUST be created for the game to work, how can I change where they are created. I only allow items I have specifically placed to be on my desktop, I do not want icons auto creating. Cheers.
  9. Well, I give up. Had another play about, watched several How-To vids, read several forums, but to no Avail. It would seem Mo'Creatures is not compatible with TekkitLite - shame. I have added Optifine, PowerConvertor mod and Thaumcraft, so I'm fairly happy. Going to miss this one though.
  10. The PowerConvertor mod has been replaced by the Electric Engines. There's a video of someone (sorry can't remember name), hooking up a MV Solar Array to an Adjustable Electric Engine then to a Quarry. (75 EU/t = 30 MJ/t in the vid) I downloaded and installed the Power Convertor mod myself though. (had to change the Mod id from 4093 to 4088 as the Electric Engine use 4093)

  12. I can't get it to work at all. So far I've added Thaumcraft 3.0.1c with out any problems: I'd like to add to add Mo'Creature too. GuiAPI 0.15.2 and DrZhark's CustomSpawner 1.10 are installed and running, BUT when I copy in DrZharks MoCreatures Mod 4.40 to the /Mods folder as per instructions minecraft fails to load. The Mojang logo appears breifly then I get a white screen and nothing. I'm in no rush and this is for my person private use, so any help would be appreciated.

Title: EE3 doesn't seem to work Version: 0.5.1 OS: Windows 8 Pro (upgrade from Windows 7 Ultimate) Java Version: Java 7 Update 9 (both 32bit and 64bit) Description of Problem: I can't find and make any items for EE. I'm currently hosting a Classic 3.1.2 server for a few mates. I'm a heavy EE user (can't have EMC ). But can't find any of it in Tekkit Lite. The Mod list claims it's Available (The main screen says 61 Mods Loaded, 61 Mods Active) but there is nothing from EE anywhere. Do I have to do something? Error Messages: none Error Log: none
