Personal build claims are created with a simple Gold Shovel anywhere outside of /spawn in homeworld. Towns and Cities are active with players grouping together creating large claims and shared sub-claims! Towns get a warp and warp sign in spawn. Cities additionally get common areas. We encourage players to cooperate and build epic-ness. While our plugin list is larger than some, we are very careful to keep it a Tekkit Server. Most of our plugins add benefits to players investing time into the server. To become a member with access to more commands and autoranking apply on our forums at: http://www.hexcraft.org/forums/. We have a /resource world for gathering materials. Typing /resource puts you in a random spot in the resource world. Once you have gathered enough materials to start building go to /spawn and head out of the city in any direction to claim land with a gold shovel. Simply right-click 1 corner, then another corner to create your first claim (10x10 min size). You will notice that /spawn is reserved for player shops, not housing. We encourage players to band together and create towns & cities. Solitary bases are also welcome. Central city /spawn is the primary shopping market that drives HexCraft's economy. We made changes to resource world yesterday to encourage more PVP and prevent overquarrying. Resource world is MUCH smaller now.

NEI will make your life much easier, if you don't see the NEI list of blocks and items on the right side when you open your inventory or a craft bench try pressing 'o' to see if it was accidentally closed, if that doesn't work make sure your GUI size is set to normal. In your inventory there's 'options' down on the bottom left - make sure you are in 'recipe' mode and you can pull up recipes for any block or item that is craftable. Using the arrows you can see alternate recipes that work.

still working out kinks with the new server in terms of grief prevention settings and getting forge dimensions to play nice with multiverse, to all our premiums who have been asking, please be patient it's nearly there

redstone engines are now just to drive very low energy devices like wooden pipes Thermal Expansion adds a few nice engines that produce MJ's - check out steam and magmatic

as was said above - edit the immibus microblocks config put minus signs in front of the entry for redstone energy conduits, energy transfer and liquid transfer (not sure yet if there is any effect on liquiducts but be wise and do them anyway)

so after some serious digging by our tech expert here's the scoop: redstone conduits don't work properly with immibus microblocks, when you try to place them, especially vertically they crash the client the work around for the time being is to edit the immibus microblocks config - find the entry for redstone energy conduits and minus sign it out along with the next couple of entries (energy packet and liquid transfer?) good luck this will make it so you can place redstone energy conduits but you won't be able to hide them inside microblock walls

Just to clarify - we are not converting our existing HexCraft tekkit lite server into the new 'space' tekkit - we are starting up a second server that will run new tekkit.

buildcraft power MJ's are compatible with TE MJ's buildcraft has 3 engines, TE has 3 engines all with advantages/disadvantages in cost/performance just use NEI and type 'engine' down in the inventory search bar at the bottom of your inventory or craft

Same issue on our server, are you using MCPC? our technical expert contacted the modders in IRC, we are going to try replacing the immibus core mod that is affected with a different version, I'll let you know how it goes

I've been hunting through the mods searching for an answer without success. Anyone know how new tekkit will charge modular power suits? <edit> I've been supposing it probably will be the universal charger from powercrystals powerconverters but powerconverters aren't listed in the modpacks.

Currency item added - you can trade your virtual vault dollars for $100 coins that can be used in trade o mats.

Greylisting has been relaxed, guests are allowed to play, members get additional benefits. Because of the plugins and setup we are running a registration & login when you connect is required so that only you can access your account (don't use your minecraft password as your register/login password).

Eventually it did download successfully took about 10 tries - is this possibly a mirror server config issue?
