  1. Voltz is basically a pack based around UE, so it seem unlikely that Flan's or Ferullo's is going to be added in. Although a gun mod with UE in mind would be totally cool.

That's right. And ICBMs is totally all about electricity. -_-

  2. Yes, but those that do have no gun turrets or updated nuclear science. And please help me with the new fission reactor! I set it up as always, and the control rod goes up, but the thermometer keeps registering increases in temperature! HEEELP! What is Voltz without fission? :(

  3. I know, but is there any way at all we could add it? Something that would only move 16 blocks? And I'd also like a reason that BlastCraft has been removed. WHY? I am now defenseless, because creepers can now blow through concrete. I'm tunneling down like a rabbit hoping nukes'll be stopped by DIRT and some concrete! And barbed wire was amazing, as was the blast-proof glass. Where did it go, and why?!

  4. They should add Red Power 2 to Voltz: Wires are better than redstone dust, and Red Power 2 Machines don't even do the same things as the ones in Mekanism, UE, or Atomic Science. So add it, PLEASE! Somehow a lot of people think of Voltz as a mod that adds electricity and machines, like Tekkit. It's NOT, folks! It's about thermonuclear cluster ICBM's and the end of the human race! Quit complaining about how every Voltz server is PVP. They're MISSILES, for cryin'-out-loud! . . . So please add RedPower2? :)

Besides, Red Power 2 would make building things like warships and war factories MUCH easier. And for the record Red Power 2 is much more realistic than, say, BuildCraft or EE2. I hate having to use this messed up redstone to launch my antimatter warheads, and I'm sure everybody would agree with me.

And could we get some kind of submarine mod that makes things move? That's the problem with all these mods, nothing MOVES.

  5. Hey, guys! This is a fool-proof strategy for surviving most missile attacks from those "pesky" ICBMs. (For a complete list of all the missiles it will stop, see the bottom of the page)

Firstly, make sure your base is as invisible as possible. Cover it absolutely with dirt (Or sand, if in a desert) and make it look like a hill. Put the proper foliage on top and around. If you want to disguise your door, then do that thing where pistons are automatically shut and only open when given a signal (Or something, look it up), and use glass pressure plates.

Next, fortify the surrounding area. Get some basic explosives and place them around with glass pressure plates, and you have a minefield! (S-Mines are visible, conspicuous, and need a redstone signal/right-click; plus, they're expensive) Also, get out some pistons, spikes (And their flammable/poisonous variants) and more glass pressure plates, and make some pitfalls! >:) Go WWI: Dig a trench with spikes in it and barbed wire on the front. Also, reinforce your base. Surround it with two layers of concrete, (Three on the roof, since most missiles come from above) and a layer of carbon-plating in the center of the roof and walls (This will stop the nukes)

You MUST be able to outlast your attackers in a siege, so get some blast-proof glass and make a skylight in a separate building, and place some solar generators. These will never run out of power. NOTE: If you have a fusion reactor up and running, then set up a water pump to a deuterium extractor; the water'll never run out. Make a farm for an endless bread source. If you want (Though it's not that important), you can make a tree farm. Chicken farms are good, too.

Finally, we get to actual countermeasures for the missiles! As well as reinforcing your bunker (You MUST do this!), you should build a radar station and hook it up to a trio of T2 launchers loaded with anti-ballistics, some sirens, and even an EMP tower.

Here's a bonus: If you want, make some camouflaged outposts, and some railguns. (Though this is more for close-quarters combat, and missiles are your biggest concern)

NOTE: Of course, the best defense is a good offense. Make a missile silo and blast your friends to hell! >:)

Nuclear deterrents are a very good way to defend against the prospect of your friends' ever getting nukes or antimatter ahead of you. (Because that's what it's all about, right?) Firstly, fire some contagious and chemical missiles in their direction in order to force them to search for milk, craft some antidotes, or heal themselves in another way. Chuck a few EMPs their way, as well, as this will break most generators, except for coal and pipe ones, as well as draining the power out of power tools/armor, battery boxes, batteries, gadgets, launcher panels, EMP and radar towers, etc. >:) That'll set their centrifuges, particle accelerators, and deuterium extractors back a bit, as well as knocking out their defenses. :D

Thanks for reading this. :) Also, please add tips, as I am building a bunker complex, and would like to know more of you guys' tips.

  6. How do I make sure that bunkers will be imperious to nuclear t3 missiles? I am coating the bunker in a 4 block-high roof (3-thick walls) with one layer of steel blocks in the middle, but this probably won't stop a full-blown nuke. I have accepted that Antimatter explosives are unstoppable (Except with anti-balistics or EMP towers), but what about nukes? Gonna do some tests with carbon-plating, blast bricks, and concrete-steel combos.

  7. Fire EMP's as nuclear deterants. This way they will lose all power and most generators . . . and those are expensive! >:) Also, maybe you can make a fence of barbed wire and have the entrance booby-trapped with shrapnel missiles! And set up a good radar system with some redstone lamps that light up your house when given a pulse from the radar, as well as some proximity detectors.

  8. Like, when you put on pumpkins with some texture packs, it looks like an actual HUD. I was hoping that the HUD glasses would be like that, showing temperature changes (For signaling the presence of lava), wind speeds (For Wind Mills), and an Infrared-type vision thing, so that you can see mobs far away or through rock.
