  1. Hm. now that you say it.. I got the exact same problem. One thing is though; the ID's in the universalelectricity.cfg are different from the ones ingame...
  2. Don't think so. I'm sure Duncan build that one himself..
  3. Ah, got it as well now! I managed to reproduce your findings The only minor issue is the needed amount of diamonds for it Thanks a bunch both of you!
  4. Hm. it's still sort of awkward though.. I asked someone else as well to check it, and it seems to work fine for him (no limit)
  5. Like Theprolo already mentioned: try to delete the "Voltz" folder in your /appdata/.techniclauncher (don't forget to back-up for saves though!), and let it redownload it.. Perhaps that'll fix it (or did you already try that?)
  6. I found this to be a good guide (though the MFFS no longer Emps the ICBM, at least.. not for me)
  7. Thanks for the info and the screenshots! I just found out that the handheld multimeter gives a wrong amount of Amps.. With the block is also get 200 Amps 120 Volts and 24 kW (which is indeed correct, 200*120 = 24*10^3), it indeed seems to be the limit Does anyone know whether or not this can be changed (like in a .cfg)? Or is there another way to upgrade the extractor? Or is the only solution if one wants a bigger shield, to make multiple extractors..
  8. You should not put lava / fuel inside the heat generator.. If you just put lava underneath / on top / on the sides or all of those.. it also generates electricity.. thus becoming an infinite source of power I do find it to be quite a lot actually.. If you put lava on 5 sides of the generator, it generates 8 kW (so thats 8 kJ per second), which is only 1 kJ less than an advanced solar generator.. As a reference, the hydrogen generator generates 20 kW and the simple solar generator generates 1 kW. Sorry for being off-topic, thought that this might be useful for the OP to know. EDIT: Oops, only just see that Saman also said this
  9. Could you perhaps use the handheld multimeter on the cable that connects the extractor to the fission reactor? Or was the 120V, 720 Amps and the 88 Watts that? Max seems to be 10 Amps, 120 Volts en 24 kW for me..
  10. For a server, its in the same folder. "config/UniversalElectricity" It's also called ElectricExpansion.cfg. You should change the general { B:Use_Leather_In_Wires=true B:Use_Wool_In_Wires=false } To: general { B:Use_Leather_In_Wires=true B:Use_Wool_In_Wires=true }
  11. Does anyone know whether or not the Force energy extractor is limited on the amount of KiloWatts it can take? Currently it looks like it can only use 24kW, thus creating FE not quick enough for a decent shield. I already used the boosters etc. but the max shield (that can be sustained) is one with 2 distance upgrades.. So, does anyone know whether or not the FE extractor is limited on the amount of KiloWatts?
  12. Be sure to put the particle accelerator in one of the corners. The block type does not matter, it can be pretty much anything, for example dirt or cobble.
