The official server is getting closer to being published. The spawn area has been finished, and we are currently working on plugins, permissions and custom quests. Hmm everyone else is getting on fine, when you selected 1.2.1 and launched Big Dig, did you update when prompted to?

Server version is 1.2.1 Info: We decided to make a Big Dig server seing as it was something new and a breath of fresh air on the official modpack list. Our aim is to have the server up 24/7 with the execption for the automatic restarts every 2 hours and maintenance. The staff have known each other for a long and have been playing games like EVE Online togethor for the past 3/4 years. We currently have a Big Dig server that is just about ready to be made public. We are intending on holding off the release untill their is a Big Dig server section up on here.

What type of engines are you running? 3 Sterling engines a.k.a steam engines can power a quarry. For the combustion engines, were they being properly cooled? One bucket of fuel can burn through a few hundred buckets worth of water. As for connecting up the engines to the quarry, you can place the engines directly on the open faces of the quarry and they will provide power. *Edit - Need to learn how to read the title better *Edit - A few of us still use combustion engines as they are soo cheap to make and can be made early on. So more quarry goodness from the get go!

Have you tried reseting the modpack and downloading BIG DIG again? Also, if you're still having problems upload your error logs/crash report to pastebin.com and post the links on here

Go into your essentials config and their is a line for essentials to take priority for spawn. Make sure it is set to high or highest. What to look for; You could also set a warp via '/setwarp spawn' and then in your config look for; Change 'none' out for the warp name so it would be 'spawnpoint: spawn'

The recipe is 3x standard rail, 3x redstone and 3x gold ingots. You need to use a rolling machine and have it powered by a energy cube directly. I have not tryed crafting them on Voltz 1.1.3 however. http://railcraft.wikispaces.com/Rails (Part) Advanced Rail

I have had issues with the lastest launcher where I use manual build selection for selecting 1.1.3. Try using the 'Always use latest builds' from the launcher
