This means your update failed and you need to remove the directory and select 3.1.1 again and let it download it. When you start your game and it doesn't say Minecraft Forge 3.3.8... in the bottom left corner along with FML v2.2.106.176 it means you aren't running the proper version.

You need to host your server on something better than OS: Dell laptop version. Also read this topic a bit better http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/new-report-format-required-reading.2292/ and see if you notice something after the format part.

A redpower pump will do this if you pump to a 1x1x1 hole and use a deployer with buckets to it. Think it works for oil too.

What the fuck are you talking about? Why do you insist on lava cells? You know geothermals use lava cells or lava buckets?

thats the one I've used with some modifications to fix it getting stuck without power when going up and down. Shame that wireless redstone is so fucked up and tends to break. My platform dug something like 100 chunks then the forward movement wireless receiver was stuck on constantly. Removing it and replacing it just had it go back on instantly. After I replaced that it started to crash anyone around it if you moved it. At first I thought it was due to items entering the chest and moving it at the same time, but even after removing the chest it likes to crash. Just the fuckedupness of minecraft I suppose. Need to see if the latest bukkit version of redpower will fix it, but we don't have it installed yet.

You need a button with several repeaters, and even then it might get stuck. We had this issue in the beginning on our server and used either a button with several repeaters or a lever with a pulse former after it. Both seemed to do the trick. This was in tekkit 2 edit: Now that I test it I can't get the repeaters to work. But a lever and a pulse former does work. Though here is how you can do it with a button. That's an AND gate. Seemed to work. Or not, sheesh.

You just need to know the basics to do it. The digging head must move sideways and down and the output is huge, so tube accordingly. The rest is figuring out the order to do it.

Yup with world anchors its not an issue. Set it to no less than 0.5 seconds as that seems to be the fastest the server can handle. And of course buckets, they work just fine in a geothermal. Set up a retriever to suck empty buckets.

~26 thermopiles to power a redpower pump all the time. Have it output to a 1x1x1 container and use a deployer with buckets in it on that. Then transport the buckets using an ender chest to the over world and your base. Use world anchor by the pump, then add more and more once you've depleted all the lava sources around your pump system. here is the one we made on our server

Is redpower banned on your server? Why are you using vanilla redstone t-flipflops?

Redpower pumps will pump oil too.

It doesn't create any lag for our server and it's moving close to the set max of 1000 blocks. Read your log file to see the crash and post in the bug forum

Happens for us too. It sorted through a million items no problem then suddenly it has started to have issues. Annoying to keep fiddling with it.

You can't do worn items in tekkit 2.1 since redpower machines don't recognize them, but it seems to be working with the latest redpower 2 pr5b1.

It's because redstone signals to teleports get stuck and you end up moving back and forth the destinations really fast. Use a button with several repeaters to enable it for a short while only.
