  1. Interesting because I get this error on a freshly created world. 4 Worlds leaking on a new start sounds like something up with the mods from the get go. Unless it's something else, would be nice to hear if any solutions out there.
  2. Interesting you say about the sounds, when it's stuttering the sound is majorly as well. I thought the redwire lighting up was doing it but I has receivers feeding directly into a machine and the timer miles away as a central timer. Still same thing. Annoying thing is, can't get a log for this stuff to show the problem. I could zip up the file for download and others could inspect it and see what the problem is, but doubtful that would even work. EDIT: managed to get Optifine running on the 0.5.9 build and tweaked it about and found if I set the multi core settings, the stuttering with the timers completely disappears. Since I host from the same machine I play on, it seems this is the only solution I can find for time being. Least now the game is manageable
  3. I have the same problem and associated it with RP redwire pulses, it always starts with that (Nope not using stupid .2 sec timers). I did try to make a video of it but FRAPs dies when it stutters about like that. If I knew what it was I'd help out a bit more. Until something official is noted by mods etc then I will just keep testing various things to get my game working smoothly again. Currently using 0.5.7 and would use Optifine as a test but not even sure on the Forge build used in 0.5.7 and if it's even available.
  4. Timers definitely don't help I know that for sure. Running timers at 2 seconds and it's still as bad as any other time (Never bothered to set timers to .200 as I think that is stupid anyway.) One interesting thing I have noticed and tested out, if you are playing the game on the same machine it is hosted on, it causes this stutter effect. When I hosted on a separate machine, it was greatly reduced to the point it wasn't noticeable. As for other friends, one doesn't notice anything and the other has general lag issues related to his computer anyway.
  5. That I could understand in multiplayer. But when this happens on Singleplayer as well = confused. I will try get a recording of it happening. Only other way to describe it, little like screen tearing and lag together. The map we play has about 3 active players and all bases have nothing unusual. When I play it via Singleplayer, same issues. What I find weird is one friend has the exact same problem and the other only notices a slight lag but nothing he would readily notice. At the moment, its made playing Tekkit unbearable. To be able to play now in a ok fashion without getting a headache, I have to switch all machines off as well as timers. (timers are far away from base and wirelessly fed in) On another note, if I move away about 2/3 chunks from base when everything is running, the jutter-effect disappears completely. Other way to not be effected from what I can see it build all machines away from base and have house out in the middle of nowhere, not exactly great huh lol EDIT: tried to FRAPS it and FRAPS stutters so much its like your watching it at 1 FPS when it's clearing 60+. Confused lol
  6. Yeah Java 64bit. It's still playable don't get me wrong, its just very noticeable. I kinda hope it's just temporary thing that will work itself out in future updates. But if can isolate the problem now, maybe that will assist for future builds. As for running through RAMdisk, did stop the Jutter-Effect but did speed up the loading etc.
  7. Thanks, but same thing. I would be able to understand this if it only happened online, but it happens single player as well. Trying a few different things to see if helps. One thing I'm thinking is to run the server through a RAMdisk and see if same things happens. Bit extreme, but Im surprised no body else is suffering with this Jutter-Effect.
  8. I'm noticing that I get a form of lag lately. i7-2600k @ 4.2, 16gb vengeance RAM, gtx 560. FPS is between 90-130 and I get jutters, seems to be linked to machines and power for sure. Mainly notice it when red timer on my sorting machine. But has been happening with block breakers, recycler and filters. Its weird cause my FPS doesn't drop, the screen just jutters with the tick. Even audible as well.
  9. Replicated this by holding pneumatic pipe in hand whilst changing timer settings. Boots from server but server reports disconnect generic reasons.
  10. I'm having similar issues, i7-2600k @ 4.2, 16gb vengeance RAM, GTX 560. Max settings, FPS between 90-130. Seems to jutter a lot when either red timers are used, filters, block breakers, recycler and such all do same thing. FPS doesn't change, and audio for these is stuttered as well. I've turned everything down to lowest setting and still happens. At a loss here too. Not the only one as well, group of 3 close friends all experiencing the same thing. Any suggestions?
