Nt sure if he is on about the easiest way above, but here is the way from the tekkit wiki and it works well for me Simple instructions to add forestry back to tekkit (Drag and Drop) Start by downloading the files you require. Forestry version 1.4.8.6 http://www.mediafire.com/?y9sl6l6r818ww16 Client http://www.mediafire.com/?o1etqqymxmv7jxh Server Client Installation Windows Start > Search > %appdata%\.techniclauncher\tekkit\ Extract into the tekkit folder (replace existing files) Mac User > Library > Application Support > techniclauncher > tekkit Extract into tekkit folder (replace existing files) Server Installation All OS Extract to server directory (Replace all files) This has been tested on Tekkit Server 3.1.2

Not quite sure what you mean there, Forge is the only jar mod youd need to edit, but because of the order in which you add mods you would mneed to re-do the whole jar

Could it be that your not running a tekkit server? Even if you are, try deleting it and redownloading it Then it should work

Would be a bit of a pain, Im not sure but i think it runs off a diffrence forge version so you would need to re-do the whole minecraft.jar

OK thanks, after trying that i get kicked for random errors a tad but not too bad

So yeah, I added Mystcraft to my tekkit and now its crashing just after the mojang logo shows meaning i get no error report and have to force close the launcher, I could do with one of two Either a premade config that wont conflict or help on getting an error report because i dont nkow how to get one Any help appreciated Thanks

yes but im getting annoyed at peoples lack of ability to use the search function for the other 300 threads about this problem

And how will these people update? because they have Always use Dev build, then why would they be surprised ewhen it asks them to update to a new version? they can always say no anyway, peoples sheer stupididy means that when they download the server version 3.1.1 and their tekkit is version 3.0.3 they dont think to check options on the launcher before they make a post on the forums, i got this error and thought to check options and saw i wasnt using the 3.1.1 build so using manual select chose it and guess what i could then connect to the server. Please go spread your negativity elsewhere

Yeah but what he is saying is how this person managed to start a whole thread on here without thinking to use the search bar once, and when you run it it will work with the recomended server build, the stable one that most players choose to use just not the dev one that contains more bugs and glitches. if your gunna get all pissy please do it else where.

This. but anyway it is probably some form of anti-greifing plugins or something that needs the configs editing to allow buildcraft to bypass them

Thanks for this, works fine no errors or anything, machines working fine. Make sure servers isnt up when you add "[buildCraft]", "[industralCraft]", "[RedPower]", "[ComputerCraft]", "[Forestry]" otherwise it automaticly overwrites it back to the default, Thanks
