For some reason server decided to change modpack randomly? .... fixed it making sure it will not happen again

No stealing : Kinda goes with no griefing i think this is pretty clear 5 . No rule bending : its annoying and a whaste of time to bother staff with it. 6 . No commanding : I know how to run a server thank you, The server is 11+ months old. We are running tekkit now as we want a chance and im going back into turtle programming. We have had great comments on how helpfull our staff is, People even state that we are actually not faking the friendly staff tag in our server description. -May inprove later- Server is online 24/7 Hosted by fragnet.net server hosting Community : Loyal players that often follow us around if the modpack changes (doesen't happen often) Also staff currently no other players.

Get groupmanager it is Very usefull The following link has every single permission node : http://wiki.ess3.net/doc/permissions Pick the ones you need and use groupmanger with it. Then add them to the group you want e.g : /mangaddp default essentials.sethome Hope this helped

First install bukkitforge. It allows you to install plugins that allow /sethome (prefarably essentials! ) Plugins go in the plugin folder not mods folder. And hexxit runs fine w 1 gig. I run a 768 mb hexxit server no lagging out (close but not). Hope this helped .

Black i want to give you one tip : Do not op random people every owner knows that Just make sure they play a while on your server and that you can trust them. Bad ops scare people away and do not know how to handle problems.

i also got a server but its mostly me and my friends i think it works fine and im not eve ngoing to think about making it public

My server is running how much... 768 mb And the problem is not fission and fusion reactors You might have corrupted chunks Or an host that lied to you.(they are very rare hosts are so honest yay!) Or your host has unstable lagg reductions . My server can take on 25 players whilst running Tekkit. Never tried big dig but even then it could easyly run 768 MB. If you run the server yourself tough ... Well non-hosted servers have NONE of the server stabilityness of hosts all the lagg gets mass taken on so ... Not much you can do expect for checking your files on corrupted chunks.

Lagg is just big dig is very heavy so it could be that . But i say just read the sticky's they help alot clearing lagg.

I have sometimes my nether corrupts . Mostly happens when updating a pack. Or just out of nowhere. (Only had it on first nether generation tough) Just delete the nether from your files and let it generate again. (mostly the nether you see is partly generated and stuck on something) Or! just get somebody else to send you an hexxit nether file and put that in. (best way to get it working )

Its dangerous to go alone... So i setup a server for me and my friend to play on. Good times indeed.(not that they like ended... they are still going on adventure! yay!)

tavelling long distances is not neccasairly at all managing inventory is! you find loot TONS of loot ... what to do with it ? pick the best loot dump, and the lesser loot in a chest or something. with a few backpacks you should be fine, then just go from outpost to outpost you make. outpost often only take just 1-3 minutes to make, and you always loot around a circle around the outpost and clear all the dungeons etc. so travelling? hell no, thinking hell yes This is also why i think hexxit servers work bad :3. People loot way too much defeating purpose for other players.

Well i doubt anyone would give you an .zip or .rar . Well i think in .technic all the files are present once you have installed it but i doubt if you install them they would work . You probarely have to make like a custom-mini launcher to launch them (i could be very wrong but you never know with packs) . You could however try downloading and installing every single mod seperately. But they made a mod called Hexxitgear wich is not seperatly avaible as far as i know . Anyways i try to be of any help to you but don't rely on me sir. I only have very little knowledge about this topic. I hope you get better help soon .

gone diff modpack not coming back for a while MAIN reason : infamy has been made VERY alpha id say its not even alpha ready ... it corrupts files so fast youd ask yourself ...what were they thinking to release this modpack so early? probarely going to wait till they get a STABLE build

This is my server once again. We are done with Tekkit and we take a look at a modpack. It is a lot of fun and I think it is better then Voltz. It has about the same mods as Voltz and more! Notice: No spawn because its a plugin-FREE server to have the ultimate vanilla experience of the modpack. There are not many servers like this out there. This makes it more fun for players that want this kind of server. I will update this server post whenever I get screenshots. Now I know Tekkit was on here before and it suddenly went off ... Tekkit has quite some bugs and problems still so I cannot run it any more without corrupting the world. (Well, I can but this would mean disabling epic mods.) I want a server with no disabled mods. So, no more Tekkit (For now, until they debug a bit.) Do not complain about it. I cannot help it. I am not blaming Tekkit either. Community : No griefers, mostly friends and trusted players/stalkers playing. It's just about started but they will come up soon. got it back up guys tekkit old map (from before before most of you played) with some high-tech basery

setbacks with backups but the host is going to fix them soon might get the server running on tekkit again in the future
