  1. Username: ptsebago1 Age: 24 Why Tekkitopia? Havent gotten a chance to actually play on a big server yet. Messed around alot in single player and have a fairly advanced base set up but I'd like to start collaborating with others to create something truly epic. Also like the mature setting b/c I dont want to deal with griefing, etc. Your secret code: 9pts
  2. It probably wont work because the pattern encoder doesn't actually push anything out of its output once you encode a new pattern. It just sits there in its inventory waiting for you to pull it out. The only thing I can think of is using a retriever/retrievulator with a tube system to automatically push a blank pattern into the pattern encoder when the amount in its inventory falls below 1. Not positive if that would work but it SHOULD...I think...
  3. I have the same errors as well. New worlds as well as old ones spring leaks within hours of starting up the server. Getting the same : [sEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 3096f45c (world) has leaked. [sEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 46aff06c (world) has leaked. Has anybody made any progress to tracking down the root cause of this issue?
  4. If i'm not mistaken I don't think it goes in the bin folder. When I updated my Optifine for 1.2.5 multi-thread I just opened the modpack.jar file with winRAR and then copied over the files directly into the root folder. I didn't have to go down any folders into bin or anything. Hope that helps!
  5. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/249637-152-optifine-hd-d2-fps-boost-hd-textures-aa-af-and-much-more/ Read and learn. If I'm not mistaken it should be the build for MC 1.5.1 Honestly though I believe Optifine is included with Tekkit. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I know it was in the older versions.
  6. In terms of producing power en mass is there anything currently in the build that will enable the creation of a 2030 EU/t engine as my IC2 Ice-fed Nuclear Reactor does? I understand that that's overkill for alot of situations but its mighty easy having one small reactor room rather then multiple floors of combustion engines to produce even a fraction of that power. P.S. - I understand that whatever power produced at this point wouldn't be EU/t but I'm too lazy to convert it to MJ/t.
  7. Don't think so. You could download the standard BDCraft Sphax patch but it wont have the additional files needed for the modpack. I'm sure a modpack patch will be released once someone compiles all of the separate packs for each mod.
  8. I tend to agree. It doesnt seem like there's really any other good ways of producing/storing power without IC2. You cant even use blutricity without RP2. Kind of odd that they would get rid of one of the most useful mods just for the sake of wanting to get the new version out sooner. =/
  9. Fair enough. I personally wouldn't mind just patching my new Tekkit installation for IC2 and RP2 once they both get updated. As of now I'm working off Tekkit Lite but i'll make the jump to the new one soon enough i'm sure. Its hard to give up the nuclear reactors and the abundance of power they produce.
  10. I still have to agree with OP that it kinda sux its gone. Is there any way to just add IC2 to the modpack yourself manually? I'll admit i'm pretty new to the modding scene but is there anything stopping you from doing it yourself?
