Add ">serverlog.txt" (no quotes) to the end of the first line in your batch file. Paste the contents of that file, after the next time you run your server, into pastebin, and give us a link. NullPointerExceptions are hard to pin down, but there might be something else in there to see.

You have something in your inventory that's keeping you from connecting. I'm guessing it's a monster spawner. You have two options: 1) Use an inventory editor (not sure what, never had to personally) to get rid of it. 2) Delete your player.dat file from the server. This is not a client-side issue - that's why your client-side attempts to fix it have failed thus far.

Are you sure it's not just the floating hearts missing? I've had no issues breeding animals, but the hearts don't appear.

Also, please tell me you're not going to try to run the client on the same machine.

Try turning your IC2 sounds off in the config file on your client. That can often cause massive lag spikes.

Is Java running elsewhere? Are you using a software/hardware/vaporware/Tupperware firewall that might be blocking ports? Sorry, got carried away there.

Do you have an antivirus/firewall? It's amazing how many people leave that blank.

It would appear that your launcher thinks you have Java 6u31, and you think you have Java 7u5. That probably means you have multiple versions of Java installed. Get rid of 6. You may need to restart afterward.

So, you failed to fill out what's probably the most important part of your bug report for this error, the antivirus. What is it? You also put Latest in a couple places, which drives anyone trying to troubleshoot for you nuts.

That generally means one of three things: 1) The server has them disabled. 2) Someone used /reload on the server at some point. 3) You have an item ID mismatch somewhere (less likely). So, what is it?

Generators do not receive power. The only way a generator would power anything directly is by putting coal or charcoal in it (among a few other things). You want to hook up both the solar panels and the generator to the batbox, then that to the machines. Edit: Half-ninja'd.

You're probably looking for a Bukkit plugin, not a mod. Disabling items in the config files is certainly not your only option.

Go get a new launcher. Get rid of AVG. Those are both probably preventing you from downloading. Do you have a firewall?
