You're running multiple versions of Java. The log shows Java 6. Go kill it.

The usual causes of this are outdated or, less often, too <new> of a graphics driver, or too much RAM allocated to the launcher.

How much memory are you allowing the launcher? And can you post a log?

Go into your .minecraft folder and delete any config files Mo' Creatures may have made. It seems to like doing that. Then change the config file by hand instead of running the one inside the game.

Antivirus/firewall software is the typical cause of this. What's yours?

You're using a dev build, which doesn't have OptiFine. Install OptiFine, and you should have no more problems.

The recommended build of Technic is currently on Minecraft 1.1 - Technic 7, which is the 1.2.5 build, will probably be out soonish, but don't ask for an ETA.

You...are still using Java 6. If you think you're using Java 7, try uninstalling Java 6. Your launcher log says 6u31.

You got the bug report...half right. You need a bit version of both Win7 and Java, and you need to post a launcher/error log. Also, I'd get rid of McAfee if you can, and go with something free that works better.

Ta da! If you were paying attention when you submitted that bug report, you would have noticed the print below the Error Log box. Yes, a launcher log and an error log are the same thing. Believe it or not, the launcher generates a log whenever it runs. It doesn't have to have an error. It starts deleting after 5 or 6 logs, though, I think.

I don't think this is causing any problems, but I'd remove and reinstall Java 7 just in case. You're running Update 2; Update 5 is out.

The minecraft.net servers, or possibly the Technic servers but I'd believe the former given their history, seem to be overloaded right now. Patience and trying again is encouraged.
