Installed windows 8 2 days ago, have all fresh drivers, java etc EDIT: My friend who i play minecraft with has the same issue but he hasne't upgraded his system or anything. in 1.3.2 BigDig version the gauntlet was visible but when these rapid updates started it's not visible anymore.

You could try resetting bigdig pack and then downloading an earlier version through technic launcher

I'm not sure if the gauntlet is supposed to be invisible now but maybe someone can shine some light on this subjects. It's invisible when you're in first person mode, you can see it on other players and in 3rd person.
