So this server is pretty bad. I logged onto it with a few buddies of mine and after a few rounds of PvP, we were being told to stop killing people. Eventually they put some of the users in creative so we couldn't kill them. During this whole time, the server would crash every 5 to 10 minutes; continuously. I made an inquiry about it and they said it's not crashing, as everyone on the server was saying it is. They then threatened with bans if we didn't stop PvPing others and the server was told to stop complaining about the crashes or they would be banned too. Then before a crash, they slayed myself and my friends so we wouldn't get our gear back when the server came back up. When we confronted them about it they said, "Deal with it". I questioned further into why I was slain and why my gear was removed and they said it was for logging out during combat. I was in combat during the server crash, and they only removed the items from myself and my friends; everyone else was fine. We were then banned after questioning it further. -Crashes every 5 to 10 minutes -PvP isn't actually allowed (You get yelled at if you're better than the donators) -If you get too good, they slay you, then ban you -They put people into creative who get killed

Is there a list somewhere of compatible mods you can add to a Hexxit server?

What do you all use for permissions on your servers? I was thinking about using PermissionsEX because it looks like most of you use that. Does it work well and are there any others you would suggest?

I currently run a group of ~10 people on a server running off of one of my machines. I'm looking at putting the map/world onto a dedicated machine. I'm looking at putting in anywhere between $7 to $20 a month into a good server. Does anyone know of any good server hosts? So far I've found a some server hosts with good reviews but I want to hear from you guys. Top hosts I've found so far: http://www.fragnet.net/ http://quartzservers.com/ Any suggestions?

Is it possible to add Redpower to a hexxit server? A better question would be; Is it compatible?

I'm looking for a way to make this game a bit harder. One thing I've been messing around with is the Infernal Mob mod. One question I have on it would be about the default settings. It says eliteRarity=30, infernoRarity=10, ultraRarity=10. What are the perimeters for that? I'm trying to get edit the Better Dungeons mod as well to make the dungeons a bit harder. In general, what have you done or what do you suggest doing to make the packet harder?

I found Tekkit Customizer but I'm looking for a way to disable the Rift Blade from dropping. The people who already own one are allowed to own one; I want to make it so no more drop. From the Tekkit Customizer it looks like you can only disable the item from the world; or am I reading it wrong?

For example: Can I disable the Rift Blade or the Ender Sword from dropping?
