  1. Exactly. IC2 was a good beginning mod. But I think the other mods do it better now.
  2. IC2 isn't fully updated. Also, you can do basically everything with Big Dig that you could with IC2. I'm actually glad they removed IC2; it gives me a chance to play with some of the other tech mods in the pack.
  3. As far as building a ship and flying to the moon, that's galactic craft, as I'm sure you know, and that's already in Big Dig. As for talking about Tekkit, why would you be talking about Tekkit when we're in the Big Dig thread?
  4. Oh! I see. You're agreeing with me that you don't need IC2 to do anything anymore? But yea, that's what I'm saying. The original poster wanted IC2 back, but Big Dig has everything (nearly) that IC2 had, and in my opinion, does it better.
  5. I did say except for armor and tools. But there are other power armors in Big Dig.
  6. Right. I played IC2 extensively. Greg Tech too. But we have mekanism/minefactory/buildcraft/thermalexpansion/forestry. I've played both, and except for fancy jetpack/armor/tools in IC2, we can do everything that IC2 did, without the mod. Toss out something you miss from IC2, and we'll show you how it can be done (in most cases better) without it.

  8. Also, is bonemeal not supposed to get used up for Pam's wee flowers? Ghestalt fruit too, I think.
  9. I noticed the mod that shows you the mob and mob health in the upper left is gone. Were there compatibility issues? I love that mod.
  10. I did a search on this thread so I don't THINK this has been mentioned. Treecapacitor doesn't work on Tiger Wood Trees.

  12. This is a known bug with Chococraft. It was apparently fixed in 2.8.4, and Big Dig will be upgrading Chococraft to 2.8.5 when testing is done, so hopefully, this won't happen anymore.
  13. Perhaps this has been discussed, or maybe it's a compatibility problem, but why is Tinker's Construct only being updated to 1.3.4.3? The current version is up to 1.3.6.7. The version this update to big dig will have won't even have tier 2 weapons. Just curious.
  14. I have this exact same problem. All of other mod packs work for me, but when I open Hack Mine, it loads, then just closes the launcher. No crash log, no errors, just closes everything. I even tried it on a different computer, and the exact same thing happened. I just figured it was down, somehow, but I see that almost no one else is having this problem.
  15. Ok, I really wish I had taken a screen shot. I found this pair of flashing, rotating cube things. They were both in the same spot, rotating, hovering in the air, independently. They had little mini cubes surrounding them, and no tool seemed to do anything. I dug out the dirt underneath, and they disappeared. any clue at all what this was?
  16. Doesn't your first sentence completely explain the situation? Your second sentence doesn't add any information, it is just showing your anger to a poster. Next time, use the preview button and read what you are about to post. Hopefully, you will see that you come off as an idiot. (See what I did there?)
  17. I'm not sure if anyone else is getting this bug. I don't have anything but Hexxit installed, but randomly (almost always) when I have an inventory screen open, or a crafting gui of any kind, when I try to leave the gui, the game will hang. It seems to be proportional to the amount of time I've spent in the inventory gui. It's not my PC, I play many mod packs and this never happens, and I run Hexxit at over 100 fps. Anyone having this problem?
