  1. ^^^^^ All of that is caused by the guys over at forge added some (what would something like this be called? DRM? DRM will do....) DRM to the forge that makes minecraft crash if any edits are made to the (forge and minecraft version).jar, witch, on the Technic launcher is the modpack.jar these codes:" -Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true" will tell Forge to ignore any edits to the (forge and minecraft version).jar and Launch the game no-mater what. but, as seen above you need to put it in the JVM Arguments, witch you can't do on the Technic launcher.
  2. its rei's minimap. read it next time.
  3. yes it did. try it your self, and what happened to me will happen. need prof? ^ me trying to install optifine into the pack ^ mo' villages
  4. oh yeah, that. that was me testing the 1.6.4 and 1.6.2 Nodises with other mods. now, its for legit mods like optifine and ComputerCraft.
  5. thats not what I meant. I have 3 working auto-download packs. what I meant was that when you put files from mods that edit Minecraft's default fuctions, like the mo' villages, menu-util or older optifine and TMI versions will crash the game for Invaild minecraft.jar and then it says: [sEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] There is a binary discrepency between the expected input class (class name here) and the actual class. Checksum on disk is (default class Checksum), in patch (Modded class Checksum). Things are probably about to go very wrong. Did you put something into the jar file? [sEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] The game is going to exit, because this is a critical error, and it is very improbable that the modded game will work, please obtain clean jar files.
  6. does anyone agree with me?
  7. if you can't see, it says the download is from dropbox. you know, that place were if their is too many downloads, it wont let anyone download.
  8. no, the name of the zip doesn't matter, just look at the derectdownloads for my packs: http://download1487.mediafire.com/fcpjm8ptj9fg/euw70hd2n11f9k0/pokemon+for+masters.zip http://download1645.mediafire.com/vbo8f6v3o0pg/2q77ul4dp7ozan1/grand+theft+craft.zip http://download1649.mediafire.com/azku1vvxa64g/veb2tw8rccy9s35/Adventure+with+the+finest.zip see? none of these are named "modpack.zip"
  9. well, don't worry. the newer versions of optifine for 1.6.2 and 1.6.4 can be loaded from the mods folder, and 1.5.2 and past versions of minecraft don't need the DFML patch to work with jar mods.
  10. I'm trying to update a modpack and I wanted to add a mod that changes the original classes and only comes in jar mod form, so I would need to do this for it to work with the new forge: but, on the technic platform launcher, there is nothing of the sorts in the options: so, I wouldn't be able to use said mod, so can someone add the DFML patch to the launcher by default so no one will have to worry about what mods they add?
  11. I think he got the link when the platform was testing the 1.6 pack support but, those links were for 1.6.2/1.6.4 packs, so... yeah. thats all I got.
  12. ok, what does it say in the console? did you edit the config's for your mods so no items or blocks over-wright echoter?
  13. I think it's because 1.6.1/1.6.2/1.6.4 MinecraftForge crashes when you replace the default Minecraft or Forge classes. mods like mo' villages can't be used because of that.
  14. The version.JSON for the version of minecraft the pack is and the uinversal download of the lateist version of MinecraftForge for your modpack's minecraft version. rember to rename the forgeversion.zip to modpack.jar
  15. You have a mod that needs the ICHUNUTIL. here is a link for it: http://repo.creeperhost.net/downloads/ichun/util%5EiChunUtil2.3.0.zip
  16. I have noticed something: the file is a 404. meaning it doesn't exsist. when its a www. it brings me to drop box's 404 and when its a dl. it's a 404.
  17. just put it in the "Public" folder
  18. you have it like this: pack.zip /pack folder /config /mods /bin right? well, all modpacks have to be like: pack.zip /config /mods /bin
  19. if you use a email to log in to the normal launcher and not a username, you have to do the same thing with the Technic launcher. if you don't, you account might have been hacked.
  20. You can't remove it with MCEDIT you would need NBTexployer and you will need to know what the error is what chunk packet it is in, witch there is billions of chunks in a berely exployed world, in yours there my be over 100000000 billion chunks. and if you asign it the wrong ID or code, your world will be even more broken.

  22. I need the full error log, but my best guess is that one for your configs is broken and has a invaild ID in it.
  23. Its a error within the world. you have to delete the world to make the server work. I know this because I get this error a lot when playing any version/modpack of Minecraft.
  24. I have this error with the launcher when the web site is down too.
