  1. you know, I almost want to help, but:
  2. If you looked before posting, you would have seen that it says: "2013-11-12 20:49:03 [iNFO] [ForgeModLoader] Downloading file http://files.minecraftforge.net/fmllibs/bcprov-jdk15on-148.jar 2013-11-12 20:49:03 [sEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] There was a problem downloading the file bcprov-jdk15on-148.jar automatically. Perhaps you have an environment without internet access. You will need to download the file manually or restart and let it try again" and then it says: "2013-11-12 20:49:03 [iNFO] [ForgeModLoader] Downloading file http://files.minecraftforge.net/fmllibs/scala-library.jar 2013-11-12 20:49:03 [sEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] There was a problem downloading the file scala-library.jar automatically. Perhaps you have an environment without internet access. You will need to download the file manually or restart and let it try again" and that means that forge is not getting all of the required files automaticly, so you will need to go here and find the files that are missing. [edit] it seems as some files are not named right on the site, so I have fixed that error. here is the links for what you are missing: http://www.mediafire.com/download/20gake3bc21ftgg/scala-library.jar http://www.mediafire.com/download/trczwtii042wx41/bcprov-jdk15on-148.jar
  3. if you look, it says it. you see it?
  4. herpderp, you need to use dropbox's or copy's derect download links. because you are doing to things wrong: 1. it has to be derect download links, as the platform is too stupid to understand the "Download now" button. 2. medafire's derect links always change anyway, so mediafire is out of the question.
  5. look a bit closer. it is not downloading your pack.
  6. Then its crashing for a differnt reason. I was just telling you that the MCMETA is just extra info used by Minecraft Texture packs and mods.
  7. http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/luke’s-hopefully-comprehensive-modpack-making-guide.44197/
  8. You put the download of the pack in your pack details as the link of the technicAPI download, not the download of the pack. you have to move your modpacknamehere.zip into the Public folder and then right-click on it and then select "Copy public link" and then copy and paste that link into the "Modpack Location" in the pack edit page.
  9. the mcmeta is just extra info. it doesn't matter if they are there or not. so, you can put logistics pipes back in.
  10. you do realise that the build version can't be downgraded? and that the launcher version means squat to the pack and that the pack will still run no mater what version of the launcher you are running?
  11. I'm just wondering what differnce in Launcher update 341 compaired to the privous version. if this question has alredy been answered in a differnt thread, please send me to it.
  12. No problem! I'm glad to help!
  13. How much RAM are you giving Minecraft and Technic? if you don't know how much RAM your computer has, open start and load Control Panel and go to "Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\System" there you can see how much RAM you PC has. to edit it in the Default launcher you will need to go to "Edit Profile" and the check the box that says "JVM Arguments" and the change the 1 in "-Xmx1G" to something more reasonable to the amount of RAM your PC has. If a window titled "Java Virtual Machine Launcher" and says: "Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine. Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit" appears, that means you need 64bit Java. of your PC is 32bit, one GB is the max. anyway, to change the amount of RAM in the Technic launcher, click the gear in the top right, and then change the 512MB in Memory to something more reasonable to the amount of RAM your PC has.
  14. Really? I sware it did... what ever.
  15. Really? meh, I Recomend JZip, but what ever archiver you want should work.
  16. that plus, the Hexxit modpack has Mo' Creatures, witch if you didn't know, the mod maker said "I will never alow anyone to use my mod in a plubic modpack" that also means that FTB can't use that mod, eather.
  17. I like this idea!
  18. yes, and if you have the old cracked one, you will need to get the new one from N̮͖ͯ͛̿͒͢o̴͍͚̳̥̞͎ͧ̎ͬ̍̋͆ͣt̛͍͕̳ͧh̳̞͖̙͍͠i̟͎̭̜̘ͪͭ͛͛͡ͅnͧ́ͤͥ̈͜g͈͐͗̆͒̓ͨ͘. though, it would be better to just buy the game, but I digress.
  19. Six ram? do you mean 6 gigbits or 6 megabits? the intel core i3 is the Grafix card. it says the OS when booting, if not.. then it might be the new windows 8. and finnaly, Hexxit is a default in the Technic launcher.
  20. well, the MojangTricksIntelDriversForPerformance code does help on intel cards, they just named a Performance posting code a funny name, now back on topic... it seems to crash because the server is being over-loaded with too many ticks in the loader. now the flying.. no clue.. try contacting the mod maker about it.
  21. 1. click on Hexxit 2. Enter your Minecraft user name and password 3. hit play. 4. enjoy the Hexxit modpack.
  22. Can you please give me more info? What does the console say when you launch Hexxit? What OS do you use? How much RAM do you have?
  23. yes that is true, but some people don't like being told or even just asked to do it differntly or have a reason to have their mod like this were it has to be a .jar mod. like the fact that they have been doing it without a modloader to do the work and they just moded the default files.
  24. well, what I was saying was than when a modpack is loaded to tell the JVM that Minecraft is using to add " -Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true" after "-Xmx(number of GBs)G" because thats what you do in the default launcher to make forge launch no-mater what.
  25. knowing that in a later update this won't be a problem is good. but, what I was asking was if the launcher would use those forge codes when ever a modpack is launched. meh, good enough.
